Exact swap out for my Bryant AC condenser fan motor
Our Bryant condenser fan was old and quite worn out, and finally got to where it would not start when called upon, and would eventually cause the breaker to trip, shutting the condenser off entirely. Managed to get the old model number (GE motor - HC37Ge210A) off the barely legible label, and found this unit to be pretty comparable, the technical stats are an exact match. The price is right, so I took a chance and ordered this motor. The installation is pretty simple really, the toughest part was removing the old fan blade, though a few drops of WD-40 and a fan puller made short work of that. The new motor shaft is about 1/2" shorter than the original motor's shaft, but I was able to just get the fan blade mounted and tightened to where it won't scrape the motor housing. The wires are also visibly smaller gauge than the original, and two of the wires are about 10" shorter as well. The black wire was exactly the same length, the red and yellow wires were shorter, but JUST long enough to route properly and connect up. Instead of having a bit of extra length, this fit JUST right, any shorter and I would have had to extend them. However, once it was all put back together, the motor is working brilliantly, and has been working for two weeks now, keeping my house cool through this heat wave we are having. My biggest complaint is that the old motor mounts screws broke off in the nuts as I tried to remove the grill from the back of the old motor, and finding replacement nuts to secure the new fan to the condenser grill has been a challenge, not easy to find at the local big box store.

Very satisfied, good motor for the price. Easy install
I was searching for a fan motor for my carrier AC unit. My old one was squealing loudly. I searched for a GE replacement but apparently you now have to buy aftermarket motors from other manufacturers. There were little reviews on this but the ones I did see complained about short wires and a shorter shift so let me address these.1. Are the wires shorter? Yes but not too short. They clip on fine, you just don't have excess length to tie up2. Is the shaft shorter? Yes but not too short. You have plenty of room for to slide the blades on and still clear the unit when spinning. This motor is manufactured by US motors. It is a direct replacement and installation took 45 minutes. I hope this review helps.

It looks like all aftermarket motors are made by US Motors so get the cheapest one
Not much to add to the previous reviews. It's cheap, it works (heat pump works again), wires are shorter and lower gauge but I was able to connect them without splicing, the shaft is 1/2" shorter but it's workable. IMHO US Motors should spend a few bucks and get the original GE motor to properly measure it. Overall with all the cons it makes sense not to spend ~$350 on OEM motor for 20 yo condenser unit fix. TIP: check that the capacitors is in 5-10% range and a compressor is electrically sound while you changing the motor. Resistance: (C->Start)+(C->Run)=(Start->Run) and no shorting.

Surprised!
As some have mentioned in other reviews, the shaft isn't quite as long as most original motors. BUT, the blades JuSt do fit on it. So that's not really an issue. But I will say this, this thing is QUITE!! A major difference in noise compared to even the OEM equipment. You can barely even hear this thing power on or run. I am truly amazed by its performance and quality. Thank you! A+++!

Not an exact replacement - but will probably work
After a side by side comparison, I decided to return the Climatek motor and go with the OEN Genteq. The following are the major differences. The Genteq wires are over 40" long compared with the 28" of the Climatek (though the black wire was a bit longer) and are heavier duty. The Genteq shaft is 2" compared with 1 1/2" and spun much easier. The circumference of the Genteq was 17 1/2, slightly smaller than the Climatek 17 5/8". The Genteeq's motor body was 4 3/8" compared to 4 1/2". As others have mentioned, the slight difference in body size and shaft length require the fan to be mounted at the end of the shaft to clear the fan. The shorter wires may not reach some run capacitors or control boards.

Great Fit! So far so good!
The media could not be loaded. This was an easy install. Works great so far and gave me a tad more life out of a really old heat pump.

YouTube and Amazon and you can do anything
Between YouTube and Amazon I was able to DIY replace not my burnt out condenser fan motor and capacitor on my 19 year old unit. This one was installed about 2 months ago and knock on wood it’s been working great. As far as I could tell, comparing several similar fan motors on Amazon and other sites, there’s a wide range of cost, like $120-$450, and as far as I could tell they were all basically the same thing. I went with this because it was the cheapest and had good or better reviews than most others. I expect this motor will outlast other vital components of the HVAC system. If it’s compatible with your system, I’d say go for it. No need to overpay.

Motor is junk
Wires were to short for the install ( it said it was a direct replacement) shakes like crazy after install and one of the mounting studs came already broken off
