Update 2 years later...
I have been putting off purchasing one of these bags. I finally got around to purchasing one, and overall I am going to say, this bag is very nice. This is the regular sized bag. I purchased one for me, and one for my son.Super light weight.Compresses down very smallVery comfortableNot for sure if this bag would keep me warm at 15 degrees, but, I probably will never test it at that temperature, as I do not winter camp. Usually I only camp starting mid spring into mid fall. So the lowest temps that I will be using this bag will probably be an occasional mid 30's. I do sleep cold, so that is why I purchased the 15 degree bag vs. a 30 degree bag.I have only used it once so far, and after a few outings, I will update the review if needed. The one time I used it, I slept good in it. Temps got down to 48 or 50, and I stayed warm in it. I am a side sleeper, and at one point I did wake up with my lower back and butt a little chilly, but that is because I was sleeping with my knees drawn up some, and had compressed the sleeping bag and created a cold spot. I had a top quilt with me, and once I threw that over me, I slept fine.Zipper functions great and the foot box was nice and warm. The fabric is somewhat slippery, but I had no problems staying on my sleeping mat.UPDATE: Tested this bag in temps that got down to 24F. Was using an inflatable pad and a small down throw from Sam's Club inside the sleeping bag. I did wear long johns as well. I stayed toasty warm and slept nicely! I do believe this is the best sleeping bag I have ever owned! The weight of this bag is 2.9 lbs.

Great backpacking sleeping bag
I bought this for a 7-day trek in Philmont Scout Ranch. It performed spectacularly! It was warm enough for cold rainy nights and comfortable to lay on when the temps were in the 80s. It's not the smallest/lightest bag out there, but for the price it was light enough for me. I got the small/short size; I'm 5'2" with a slim build. It is roomy enough to have a little space to move. The zipper and cable work great to snuggle in. The cell phone pocket.... not so much - I think it's in an odd place. When lying supine, it put the phone right on my chest. I'd rather have it on the side, maybe by the zipper, but it's not a deal-breaker. Great bag; oh, and it's my family's second Hyke&Byke bag, as my son has the one that works on a hammock- he's had it a few years for Boy Scout trips and loves it!

Great Sleep system for the price
Worked well for a 2 day ruck. Night temps were not too cold around 50F but quite windy around 25mph winds with stronger gusts. The insulation is great and didn't let the wind chill get to my body. I will say the compression sack it comes with is pretty awful it does an ok job if you have a lot of space to spare but if you're rucking/backpacking the more compressed down the better (it makes it smaller and far easier to organize things instead of just stuffing everything to make it fit). That being said a proper 12L compression sack is like 16 bucks and will pack this sleeping bag down about 2X smaller than the provided compression sack. I was a bit skeptical on how well this sleeping bag would compress down considering it is a mixed fill with down and a synthetic material, it seems the synthetics are always thicker and heavier to achieve the same warmth rating but this one packed down better than my friends REI 100% down filled sleeping bag (partly because of the compression sack i used *M-TAC 12L SIZE M*). The outer material is lightweight but pretty sturdy, i move a lot when i sleep and sometimes ended up off of the sleeping pad on the rocks or sticks but didn't tear or puncture.TLDR: it's a great sleeping bag but the compression sack it comes with sucks.

Great bag that's warm and roomy, sub par zipper
I was skeptical of the price at first but I finally had a chance to test out my new 15° bag in the mountains last weekend and it got down to 20° overnight. The bag is warm and comfortable, plenty of room to roll over inside it for this 6'0" 210 lb man.My only complaint is the zipper quality. The bag is a great price and I almost hesitate to take off a star for the cheap feeling zipper but it gets stuck 3-4 times in one attempt to close, and was a real chore. I doubt putting a nicer, more robust zipper would raise the price all that much, I hope Hyke and Byke improves their next model! All in all though it's a great bag and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a low cost down sleeping bag.

Kept me warm on a cold Tennessee night
It doesn't get exceedingly cold here in Tennessee in November, but the mercury did dip down to the teens on our recent Boy Scout camping trip, and this bag kept me as warm or warmer than my much heavier 20 degree poly-fill bag did in previous trips. The bag is light, and packs easily down into its own compression sack, and has so far proven itself to be a great value for the money. The compressed size is perfect for stuffing into a small to mid-sized backpack, and -- when paired with a decent sleeping pad (I've never used anything but a Therm-a-rest full length) -- delivers a great night's rest. Compared to other bags I've test driven like Feathered Friends and Moonstone, this bag delivers great performance at more than half the price. If you're looking for a great bag for backpacking, or perhaps a good "first serious bag" for a teenager in Scouting, then this could be the right bag for you.

Warm, lightweight back at a great price!
I just hiked the Grand Canyon in March with a used REI 20 degree bag. First, the bag didn't compress much and it didn't fit in my backpack, which was a pain. Second, the temperature got down to 36 degrees and I couldn't feel my feet about halfway through the night. I realize I'm from Phoenix and not used to anything below 100 degrees, but this was ridiculous! In planning for a 4 day Yosemite backpacking trip, I knew I'd need a warmer bag that packed smaller. The Hyke & Byke Down 15 degree bag seemed to fit the bill and the reviews were great. I have to say, I loved the bag! It was comfortable, packed smaller than the previous bag and fit in the bottom of my pack easily. Temps got down to 30 one night and I was perfectly comfortable. On warmer nights, I would unzip the bag and that worked fine. The zipper never stuck as some reviewers mentioned, and I didn't get feathers all over me as others had warned. So all in all, I am very happy with the bag.

Best ever, warmest ever, most comfortable ever!
I highly recommend this sleeping bag. My daughter used it for her DofE expedition and she was THE ONLY ONE GIRL WHO WAS NOT COLD AT NIGHT! While others complained in the morning after having horrible, cold and sleepless nights, my daughter was the only one who had cosy, snuggly and very warm nights in the tent during the expedition. She also used it on holidays by the lake and the result was the same. Brilliant!! I am going to buy the same one for my son for his coming up DofE trip. It is easy to fold and carry with you as the package is tiny and very light, which is important when you have 85 litres back pack on your bag and you have to carry other stuff for hours in the middle of forest sometimes in the rain. Thank you!
