The media could not be loaded.  Video is them growing, they look cell like and the first picture is it full grown.They do get really big in one container that can hold a lot of water for them to grow and absorb all the water. But keeping them submerged in water for more than 2-3 day they get sensitive and break apart easily. I love these things I play with all the time until they rip, they do last awhile.

Edit - second photo is the second day of them sitting in water. Half of them burst before getting big. Not a big issue. Just prepare to soak these for a day for them to get big so your kid isn’t disappointed.Taking a while to get big. Not sure if it takes like a day to happen lol. They’ve been in the water table for a few hours now but have only gotten about the size of a nickel. Will wait until the morning to see how they’ve progressed but not to upset about it.

Beads swelled to about 1 1/2 inches in 2 days. But after a few days most split in half and them crumbled to pieces. Disappointing. Not long lasting like the smaller water beads.

These were a bunch of fun for my toddler, however, like most of the other reviews... they take quite a few days to absorb enough water to swell to full size, and many of them break before doing so. Once they are fully sized, they explode and tear sooooo easily, that they just turn into a glob of a mess. Best if played outside in an area you don't mind having thousands of little gooey pieces of these balls continually popping up as they swell or shrink depending on the weather in your area. Yes, they were fun for a short while, but no, they weren't worth the mess they made. I much preferred the smaller balls (https://amzn.to/3AAl5cH). They are much more durable. Just beware, the little ones bounce like a son of a B and they go EVERYWHERE!!! I feel we will be finding these little tiny balls for decades to come! But man, they are a blast to play with. Great sensory for toddlers.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm obsessed with these large water beads and over the last few years I've ordered countless packs. I am a nail biter and I have a hard time concentrating so these are a life saver. I actually have a small plastic crafting bin with a handle and I take them with me in the car and to work. Stress relief!! This seller has great water beads. They were packaged with instructions which I've never had come with a pack before so that was a nice touch. The beads were quality. I one had 2 break while waiting for them to get back and that's really really good!!

My dearest friend, who is an esteemed Doctor of Occupational Therapy in Chicago, recommended multiple sensory activities for my 17 month old, with these water balls being one of them. I saw these and ordered them hoping to create wonderful summer memories while also enhancing the fine motor and sensory skills in my sweet toddler.I could not have been more misled, lied to, and disappointed. The initial disappointment hit when I received the package and saw they would need to soak for 6-24 hours before reaching the final size. I was slightly miffed but open to the great possibilities these beads could present. I waited the allotted time and also checked on them periodically during the 6-24 hour period. This is when the second and most engrossing disappointment struck; many of the beads as they were expanding broke into small pieces, leaving shards of this gelatin like substance in the water. What I was anticipating as an educational activity had been destroyed.This not only annihilated what was supposed to be a relaxing hot weather activity, but also created a huge hazard to my toddlers safety and well being. What if he tried to eat these balls and they broke into tiny shards in his mouth? God forbid he swallowed them and caused a gastrointestinal issue or worse yet choked on them. It is with a heavy heart that I rate this product no higher than one star. I had so anticipated a beautiful experience to add to our summer but was instead slapped in the face by horrifyingly subpar Chinese manufacturing quality. Please don't make the same mistake that I did and find something else to build your summer memories with.

The bag contains lots for future use. I added these jumbo beads to my existing tub of beads. They are huge, my child loves to squish them but there are so many in the package that he can squish all he wants and I can add more.

They took a long time to get to actual size and then they broke apart almost instantly! Most of them were shaped like an egg. I got these to add with the small ones for my son and daughters birthday party….my son is 6 and also has ASD, I read that the Orbeez are great for sensory play and he did love them I just didn’t care for them and I thought the smaller ones worked better

I've had different types of water beads before but these are the first ones I've gotten that didn't turn into round ones. My little girl is very disappointed that as soon as you hand these they break apart. They all turned into weird shapes, if I could give under a 1 star I would

Definitely not 500pcs in the package 😡 and the beads aren't round in shape when they expand, they're weird shapes and break so easily once picked up. Definitely not happy with this purchase that was quite expensive,
