Keeper(85110) 3' x 1" Trunk Tie-Down

I bought this years ago because I saw someone use a similar one and it looked cool. Maybe it would come in handy. Well, the other day I had to transport a water heater home in my rather small SUV. The cargo space was just too small to close the hatch. This thing kept my hatch secure while I drove a few miles from the store to my home. Downhill, uphill, abrupt stop (guy ran a stop sign), and well city driving. The hatch stayed perfectly tight and closed.As a plus, this thing is bright orange. Which made it easier for other drivers to see as it was dim and raining.I really like the way the clutch is designed. It overlaps creating a more secure hold.

Great for what it's designed for, and it's small and compact so there's no cost to just keeping it in the car whenever you need it. Recently used it to move an 8' stepladder in a subcompact hatchback and it worked great for that purpose.

This works amazingly well at tying down your boot. Much better than bungee cords as you can adjust it to fit. Very neat and small so that you can keep it in your boot for whenever you need it. Have since bought them for family members. Only downside is shipping is unnecessarily expensive and the product itself is not cheap. But still worth it!

Works as expected as a trunk tie down on the latches. Installs/uninstalls in seconds. Worked for a Chevy Bolt EV and presumably for other hatchbacks as well. I haven't put the weight rating to the test, but the strap is sturdy enough, and the mechanisms seem robust.

Great item to keep in your car if you tend to haul oversized items. It works really well to keep the trunk closed and is easy to release and remove. Secure, and much simpler than using rope.
