Permanent Powder Hair Color 88 Blue Black 1 ea (Pack of 3)

I have one length, shoulder length, thick hair and need 2 boxes to cover the whole head. Its easy to use and you will need a plastic bowl and a hair coloring brush, the gloves come included with the hair color. I love this, used it 10 years ago and repurchased it recently and fell in love again. Its gentle on my hair and left it soft, i normally use box permanent dye, and wanted to find something less harmful. I will be repurchasing. I purchased the blue black, i naturally have a lot of gold tones and the blue black covers up all the gold and keeps it from fading. The blue black is just a very black colored dye not really blue.

I have been dying my hair with Bigen for the last 20+ years. Nothing works as well for coverage of my gray without ever washing out. The color does fade slightly from black to a very dark reddish brown-black, but it always looks like a natural color, never fades to purple or green or fades back to gray. I touch up my roots every three weeks or so. I have never had any damage to my hair from this product, it always looks shiny, healthy, natural, and beautiful. My hair is soft and never dry from using Bigen. I also dye my eyebrows with Bigen using a makeup brush. Perfect coverage, great price, never damaging.

The only black hair dye I use. Does not budge as much as other dyes do across washes which is exactly what I want. I’ve never felt like it damaged my hair any noticeable amount either

I've been using this to dye my hair for a while now and it works great. Pros: 1- No ammonia or peroxide. 2- It covers gray hair Cons: 1- The bottle is tiny. 2- It smells like old flowers. I HATE the smell, but I wash my hair twice to get the smell out. 3- It dries out my hair. Overall, I will continue to use it since I am allergic to ammonia and can't find another hair dye without it (and without peroxide). It gets the job done. I just wish there was more product per box. Also, I really hope they improve the scent.

Always a fave. After being pregnant my hair doesn’t hold on to dye very well. This is the only dye that will last for months.

I love how easy it is to use and that it does not have a horrible smell like regular hair dye.

I’ve been using Bigen for 25 years now. Yup, even way back in college as my hair started turning grey early for me. In my opinion, the best time to apply is at least one day from the last time you’ve washed your hair. There’s some natural oil from the scalp that protects you more from staining especially if you sport short hair like a buzz cut. The color still sticks. About 5 mins after applying, I rinse off and shampoo. Looks natural and no stains on the scalp. Also it does have just a slight but not unpleasant smell after dyeing. It goes away after a day.
