I switched on and it started to work all of sudden some sparkling sound and smoke came and it stopped working in my first use.

Es muy práctica y hierve el agua rápidamente. Visualmente el efecto es increíble. La recomiendo ampliamente. Incluso la he regalado un par de veces. Mi primer contacto con esta tetera fue en un Airbnb y me encantó. Era la versión en negro, no transparente. A partir de ahí la busqué y comparé con otras opciones. La relación precio calidad es de primera.

Llego rapidísimo y aparte justo lo que pedimos, fue un regalo de bodas para mi prima!

Edit to add that almost 4 years later, it still works like it did out of the box and i use it regularly. Wow! I love this kettle! Super easy set up. Literally all I had to do was take it out of the box, set it on the base and plug it up. No parts to put together, no issues at all. Using it is just as easy. Simply fill it with water and push down the tab button located right under the handle. Within 2 minutes you hear it begin to boil. Even with a full kettle of water it is boiling within 4 minutes. The auto shutoff feature was the key selling point for me....AND IT WORKS GLORIOUSLY! After full on boiling for a minute it shuts off. Even if you turn it right back on, it will shut off within a minute. You can't fool it at all. I'm not sure if the actual temperature but it's super hot. So far I've used it for oatmeal, tea, soup, mop water, and just about anything else that I've needed really hot water for. 😂😂🤷🏽‍♀️ About the kettle/ pitcher itself. I've dropped mine, it didn't break. It is warm to touch from the outside after boiling but not hot enough to cause major burns, as a metal or glass pot would be. Same hot water, safer. The lid swings open while staying attached, but must be released first using the bottom at the top of the handle. Another safety feature in my opinion. The water only pours from the opening, even when turning upside down, unless you release the lid. The handle is super comfortable and easy to grip and hold. Lastly, visually its easily noticeable if it is on or has finished as it has small blue (led maybe) lights around the inside base of the kettle that are only lit when it is on. The power button also lights up. Overall, I have great things to say about this kettle. If I could suggest one thing, it would be the only thing that I have found slightly bothersome. The power cord is fairly short. You'll need to place it within 3 feet of a power outlet. My house was built in 1938 so placement was difficult for me and I have to unplug something In order to use it. Maybe a retractable cord holder in the base might work better for some users. I needed the cord to be just under 5 feet in order for it to remain both plugged up and sitting on the counter top. Again, this is a minute concern and doesn't affect the usability AT ALL. Heck I might be the only one who even cares about it! Great product that has had me looking to purchase other items made by Cosori that are BPA free, safe, easy to use, and family friendly.
