AMAZING!! THESE ARE A MUST HAVE!!
Let me start this review by stating a fact. YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER ICE PACK! We live in South Carolina and it gets pretty dang hot down in here in the summer. Heck, it gets pretty dang hot down here in the spring. I got tired of constantly buying ice every day when we go to the beach, lake, boating, camping…and we go a lot. I was determined to find the best ice alternative at a good price point and after reviewing a few products I decided to go with Cooler Shock. And I tell you right now, I am SO GLAD I DID! I bought the “original” foil Cooler Shock large 3 pack ice packs about 1.5 years ago. I loved them so much I bought another set, and then another…well, you get the point. I bought a lot. We have some for our soft side cooler for beer/water or whatever we’re drinking for the day. We have some for our large fishing cooler to keep our fish cold until we get back and can get home and get them cleaned. Well anyway, those were nothing short of amazing and were worth every penny I spent on them, but more importantly what I saved by not having to buy ice! Well, enough about those. I need to get to talking about what you came here to read about, the NEW and IMPROVED hard plastic Cooler Shock ice packs. I received the new hard packs on 10 July 19, filled them according to the instructions and placed them in the freezer. These new hard plastic ice packs feel and look like they are built to last. Unless you lose them or run over them with a tank, you will most likely have these packs forever. As with the foil packs, we plan to use these packs on the boat, at the beach, at the lake, camping, grocery store runs…the uses are limitless. I’ll give you a quick story about when we used our two hard packs in a Hopper 40 soft side cooler this past weekend. We took our boat out Saturday afternoon, 13 July, around noon and it was probably around 90 degrees outside. We had the cooler loaded with plenty of beer, water and Gatorade. I made what I call a drink sandwich. I put one ice pack on the bottom, add the drinks, then another ice pack on the top, and put drinks on the top pack. We fished well into the evening and got off the water at 1130 that night. We parked the boat at my cousin’s beach house and went back to our camper. The cooler stayed in the boat overnight. We unloaded the boat Sunday morning around 11:00 and put everything in the back of the truck. We headed for home, which is about 120 miles away, but stopped about halfway home for lunch and my wife did a little shopping. That put us at getting home 4:00-4:30 Sunday afternoon. I should have been surprised, but knowing how great Cooler Shock products are, I wasn’t. The few remaining bottles of water, Gatorade and one beer was still ice cold. The hard pack on the bottom was still half frozen but the one on top wasn’t frozen, but was still cold. I just can’t tell you enough or express how GREAT this product is. I have two hard packs for now, but that is about to change. I will be ordering another set or more in the VERY near future. So, after you read this, do yourself a HUGE favor and order yourself a set of three or more. YOU WILL NOT be disappointed. You will soon find out that ice is only needed for a glass of sweet tea and not a cooler. Cooler Shock is all you will ever need to keep everything nice and cold!! Feel free to ask any questions you may have about these AWESOME and AMAZING Cooler Shock hard packs. #NoMoreIce

Stayed frozen solid for 30 hours!!
I buy a lot of things from Amazon. I rarely leave a review, good or bad. I just don’t have the time. Well, this is a rare exception because I am so impressed with these Cooler Shock Hard packs I felt compelled. They work almost too good! I bought 3 to use in an Igloo Ice Box boat cooler. This is not some yeti grade cooler. It’s just a square white cooler with wheels from Walmart. I placed one on the bottom and one on 2 of the sides. The front and back just left as is. During our travels we decided to make a stop at an amusement park in 85 degree weather. 16 hours earlier I packed the cooler and put it in the bed of my truck that has a cap. After a full day of fun and thrills we headed home. When we arrived home, and unpacked the cooler some 29 hours later, not only were my food items still cold or remained frozen, some items like a 1/2 gal of milk and a 1/2 gal of chocolate milk were slushy! I could not believe these were so cold it nearly froze my milk and the Cooler Shocks were still hard as a rock! The milk items were touching one of the Cooler Shocks but that is impressive. You should not have any doubts about buying these.

CHECK THIS OUT
I came across this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. To be up front, I'm a Yeti fan. I have a number of their coolers and I use Yeti ice almost daily. But I'm also open minded to different products and not afraid to try something new. I received the three ice packs and they were wrapped together in plastic wrap. As I looked closer, I see the cap has come off (during shipment) on one of the packs and the contents has spilled into the plastic wrap. So I have a bunch of granules inside the plastic wrap. I removed the other packs and was able to save most of the granules. I used the supplied funnel to put the substance back into the ice pack. Now it's time to put water into the ice pack. The funnel does not fit as well as it should so you have to manipulate it to get it to fit. I then put the ice packs into the freezer. As the water freezes, the ice pack will swell a little bit which changes the form of the ice pack slightly. My thought throughout this experence was, you get what you pay for. That said, yes this is a cheaper Ice pack then the Yeti Ice pack. Is all the effort to get this up and running worth it, I don't know. Thus far im not impressed and would not recommend them. I use a cooler almost everyday, so to be fair, I will test these Ice packs for a number of weeks and write a follow-up. If their cooling abilities out weigh the less then desirable set up process, I will be happily surprised.UPDATE:I used my Yeti Roadie 24 hard cooler. I put a Yeti Ice on the bottom of the Yeti cooler( because it fits perfectly) and I put one cooler Shock on top of the Yeti Ice. I filled the cooler with drinks and ice. The cooler stayed in my vehicle ( I use the cooler for work) the entire four days and I retreived drinks from it during the four days. The outside temperature averaged around 68 degrees for the four days. After FOUR days, There is still a lot of ice in the Cooler and the Cooler Shock was still frozen. Could have gone an easy five days maybe six. For the entire four days I had the Frostiest most refreshing sodas and water. I am surprised by the performance of the Cooler Shock. Granted there were other factors to consider such as the type of cooler i used and the addition of the Yeti ice. But to have the Cooler Shock still frozen after four days shows that this is a very good Ice pack. I will continue to use these Ice packs and may buy more if needed. So as promised, I revised my rating to a 5 and would highly recommend the Cooler Shock ice packs.YET ANOTHER UP DATE:I don't do many updates and have never done a second. But I had to in this case.I have become intrigued with the Cooler Shock. And really wanted to see how it performed compared with the YETI ICE. I wil start by saying, Yeti Ice is better constructed and there is no prep work to get it operational. I'm not a big fan of the screw cap on the cooler Shock. But when it comes to cooling, there is a big difference.I normally use ice,but the other day I placed two Yeti ice blocks in my Yeti Roadie 24 hard cooler. ( which is a fantastic cooler). I placed the Cooler Shock on top and added drinks. The yeti fits perfectly in the cooler the Cooler shock does not. I did not add any ice.It was unbelievable, my drinks were so frosty cold all day while in my vehicle with an outside temperature of 90 Degrees. I opened the cooler the next day. The drinks were still frosty cold, the Yeti ice had melted, but the Cooler Shock was still frozen. I believe it to be a FACT this Cooler Shock is very very good at keeping things cold. As i have stated, the Yeti Roadie 24 hard cooler played a roll in this too. It's a fantastic cooler and would highly recommend it, but I would now rate Cooler Shock Higher then Yeti Ice. When a Yeti guy rates Cooler Shock higher then Yeti Ice,you better believe it's truly better.

Brilliant
Wanted to get something cheaper but effective for my yeti. These for perfectly along the back wall, along with a couple of their smallest flexible ones they’re brilliant.Did some very unscientific experiments with my yeti, iceytek and different ice packs and these stayed cold much longer than my other packs. Work the order as nothing else similar in the UK

Money Well Spent!
I needed an ice pack to keep my bait and my beverages cold when i intend to go fishing after my work ends which is usually 10 to 12 hours later in the day...After going through many reviews from various sources,i decided to purchase the hard pack and try it out.I was skeptical at first but Cooler Shock's performance has been fantastic so far!! This is a product that will definately meet your requirements for a ice pack but also won't hurt your wallet...
