Love it !
I read all the reviews for similar items and purchased this item. I am so happy that I did, it is perfect. It even chops a few garlic pieces into very small bits...now that is really telling you something! Chops anything you put into it perfectly and cleans in a flash. Thx, I love it.

Great product Easy to use and clean
I bought this to chop onions (as I have a really bad allergy response to them) and I wanted to chop onions really finely. It was easy to put together and I first used it this evening; it was brilliant. No more sore and painful eyes and the onions were chopped really finely with only 3 plunges of the chopping blades. The blades are really sharp so care is needed with handling, but a protective cover for them is included which, if used properly, doesn't cause a problem, and they are very effective. I'm very pleased with this reasonably priced kitchen accessory and it's a relief not to suffer any more!

Really Handy!
Neither me or my girlfriend have "cheffy" knife skills so if we need to chop a large amount of veggies we typically have to drag the food processor out of the cupboard. As this in itself is a bit of a pain, we decided to try out one of these a potential time saver. I have to say it has worked out perfectly! Obviously you have to work within its limitations, so don't try chucking whole onions or carrots in there, but if you chop them up in quarters or eighths and don't overload it there's no problem at all. To be honest we didn't really expect it to work at all with carrots but as long as you're careful with the size and quantities it will deal with them with no problem. The feedback from the "plunger" will tell you if you've pushed things too far, so don't just start hammering on it if it doesn't want to move, just remove a few items and try again. After a while you learn to judge what to put in at a time, so just err on the side of caution to start with. You can get a finer chop (or even turn it into mush!) with a food processor, but this device certainly chops fine enough for stews, casseroles, curries, etc. Cleaning is very quick compared to a food processor, which also adds to the convenience. We don't have a dishwasher, so any reduction in time spent standing at the sink is always appreciated! At the time of this review we've had the device 7 months and it isn't showing any signs of breaking but as I say we are careful to work within its limits. Also it hasn't become permanently stained orange from chopping carrots which is a nice surprise, although it wouldn't have bothered us if it had. Overall we've found it a great addition to the kitchen and would definitely recommend it!

Great food chopper!
This is a great food chopper. I had my reservations at first, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it chops. There may be an occasional larger piece of food that you can pick out from the whole container, but it’s still wonderful. I used it to chop a massive red onion, using smaller portions as directed on the chopper package. I think I overfilled it because it was a little tough to get the blade to move at first. Next time I’ll decrease the amount I put in it. It chopped as finely as I wanted, pushing the plunger less for larger pieces or more for smaller pieces. It’s super easy to use and clean. The blades are incredibly sharp, so be careful when washing them. I also recommend keeping the cardboard/paper sleeves that come covering the blades so it can be safely stored. It’s not absolutely necessary because they store inside the bowl/container easily without, but I have a poor history in the kitchen around sharp objects so.... Anyway, a great medium size chopper for all your regular chopping needs - if it’s difficult to chop with a knife, it will be difficult to chop with the chopper. Great for making pico de gallo. It’s not meant for purées. It’s perfect for chopping onions and peppers to avoid the stinging or burning though.
