Learn Hungarian with Fairy Tales: Interlinear Hungarian to English

I have the paperback and I love it, I'm having so much fun reading actual Hungarian text and the stories entertain me. That being said I've already been studying Hungarian for 18 months. You're not going to learn Hungarian grammar and obviously the vocabulary is topical, you're not going to need to know "king" and "knight" in real life. It's great if you buy it with the right expectations.

I bought this book, so I can read stories to my daughter in English and Hungarian. I am Hungarian and want to raise my children to be able to at least speak basic Hungarian. This book is worse than I expected. The English translation is unusable. I would definitely not recommend buying this.The stories however not bad stories, so I gave it 2 stars.

This is a way to appreciate time-honoured stories. They are stories for school age children, not baby or toddler tales. The language structure is complex but good to learn.

I've been wanting to get this for ever! So since were in lockdown I figured it's a treat and something to do. I really love it. It's nicely presented and a fun way to learn language and culture. Really pleased.It was delivered promptly and well packaged so it didnt have any damage. Thank you

Great book and easy to read with the English below the Hungarian in a lighter colour and smaller font below so you can read the Hungarian without too much of the natural inclination to read the English first.Nicely paced text and room for notes.Would highly recommend to others learning this great language.Köszönöm szépen
