Women's Ghost 14 Neutral Running Shoe

I got every shoe you can imagine. By far, my favorites are Brooks. It was not only recommended by my pediatrist, but also the shoe that is sold at a store that specializes in foot issues. Anyway, I would have liked a little more cushion at the bottom, but overall, I give this shoe a 9 out of 10. I did size up by a 1/2 size to give more room for my toes. The toe box is good. So far, it seems to be comfortable and no issues with my planters fasciitis, though I recently had a cortisone shot, so I'll have to wait in see if this solves the problem once the cortisone shot effects wear off in a few months.

These are very comfortable, have a great amount of squish when you walk. The toe box is plenty wide for me and I have a wider foot. They seemed a little tight around heel at first but after a couple walks in them they loosened and are just right now. I feel like personally they could have a bit more arch support, but overall I love them and I will definitely buy again when these wear out. I've had them for around a month and I have worn them on my 2.5 mile walks daily since I got them.

I have RA and my knees hurt so bad to walk exercise all of the time. These babies felt like a cloud the minute I put them on and I have no knee pain after using them I wear them! I exercise more now and I wish I knew sooner! I wish I knew about them sooner! I feel like everyone who has joint pain needs a pair!!! You don’t have to be a runner or athlete to benefit from these!

I fractured my patella a year ago. Walking is good for recovery. I wasn’t able to increase my mileage. Every time I tried, I would wind up with too much pain. Tried different sneakers, none worked. Within one week of wearing the Brook Ghost, I was able to increase my walk by a mile. I am taking it slow but expect to increase it by another mile soon. It was definitely the sneaker. They are true to size.

I usually order the Brooks Adrenaline as these work well for my flat feet. I had heard that Ghost was good to for flat feet. Upon wearing them for the past 4 weeks my feet are not as comfortable with them even with additional cushioning. I work on my feet and my heels hurt so additional cushioning is needed. The left foot feels a slight arch but it is bearable. I may not be able to continue using those shoes for much longer. They are a great shoe and I fully support the Brooks brand as they are the only brand that works for my fee issues.

I’ve worn Ghost 14 shoes before and really like them. This pair surprised me when I first put them on. First off, they had been unlaced and then retied, so I’m suspicious that someone else may have tried them and returned them. Then, as I slipped my foot into the right shoe my toes were not able to move freely. I took the shoe off and stuck my hand into the toe box and discovered that the removable sole liner had become bent under at the toe area. It was very difficult to straighten it out but I pulled out the whole liner and bent it back into position before reinserting it into the shoe. I then wore it and found the expected fit and comfort restored. However I was disappointed that the supplier (Montaro?) would send me a shoe that was compromised in such a way. Watch the shoes closely if you buy from this supplier.

I’ve been buying this brand of sneaker for several years now. But the Adrenaline style. Thru the years the style had changed ever so slightly and certain years proved not to work for me. I decided to try this Ghost style. I was pleasantly surprised and felt it was even more comfortable than the Adrenaline. Once I found it, of course, I had to order the 2nd pair immediately. (Before there is a style change or it runs out of stock) it’s not easy to make my feet happy, but these certainly did. For me, a wide toe box is just what I needed.

I’ve only worn these twice, but my leg and my feet were bothering me from the poor choice of sneakers. I’ve had in the past, and I didn’t want to spend the money on a better sneaker. But I decided to try these based on a recommendation, and I absolutely love them! It’s like walking on a cloud for me compared to what I had before.

Love these trainers. Lightweight & comfortable.I am not a runner but walk my large dogs a lot.I'd say the Ghost 14 is a slightly more narrow fitting than Ghost 12. I take a wide fitting in a Clarke's Court shoe but find the normal width fitting is fine in Brooks.I take size 4 in a shoe but always go for a size 5 in trainers.I believe Brooks trainers warrant their price

I've worn Brooks Ghost trainers for a few years now and they are excellent shoes. I have damaged nerves in my feet and these are the best I've found for cushioning and support. As with a lot of running shoes I wear a size bigger than my normal shoe size. I'm normally a size 5, but wear a size 6 or 6.5 running shoe. For the Ghosts I need a size 6.5. They're very secure on and have plenty of wiggle room for toes, which is a must for me. I've tried to buy them a few times from Amazon, but they seem incapable of sending a 6.5 and consistently send me a size 6. So I have to buy elsewhere. Might be fine if you're not looking for half sizes!

Really comfortable. I have high instep, painful feet and weak ankles but like to walk - a lot!Its alway a challenge to find trainers that look really stylish but are comfortable and supportive. I probably will never buy another brand again as these trainers are like heaven. Absolutely perfect.

I love these trainers. I’m on my feet all day in them as a teacher. I’m fairly wide across the toes but have narrow heels that I find don’t suit lots of other trainers. These are really supportive. I’m a EU 40 or 6.5 UK usually and I take a 7 in these. They would be perfect for me if they didn’t soak up rain water like sponges. Can’t have it all I guess!

I usually love Brooks runners but these are just OK. Toe box is more narrow than usual, lacing is wide so not much latitude if you want to loosen them at all. I find I'm breaking over to the outside quite a lot. Wouldn't buy Ghosts again.
