I purchased this lamp as extra light for my desk area, which is in a darker part of the room. with the overhead light behind me, I needed more light on my work area. This lamp is perfect for the job - it's clamped to one of the shelves; the clamps are sturdy and heavy duty. The neck of the lamp supports it - I haven't noticed any movement, but it's easy to adjust when necessary. There are several light options - color and brightness - and the switch is on the cord itself. I'm ordering another one today for another spot.

The light works great and the clip is extremely strong. I especially love the different light settings, and dimmer switch. I gave it four stars because the flexible part of the arm lost its strength and hold pretty quickly.

Love this light, it's a must have for desk and reading lighting. What's great is you can adjust the light brightness and since it clamps on, you can attach it to the back side of the desk so it's not in the way or taking up any room on the desk.

Great seeing room light

I've had this for a few years now, and it still works! It brightens up my arts/crafts desk really well in my dark basement. The only issue I've noticed is a ringing/buzzing sound when it's not brightened fully. I can hear the lower light settings for some reason. But if I keep it as bright as possible, the sound goes away. Maybe I just have sensitive hearing?

Great desk lamp. Big enought to illuminate the desk top, but doesn't take up a lot of space. The dimming settings are great. Well worth the price. Highly recommened.

This is my main desk lamp, and I really like it. The brightness and color temperature settings are really useful. The USB power cable is long enough for me to put the lamp wherever I want. I'm currently using it on an old secretary's desk, and as space is at a premium, I appreciate the long cord. The picture shows it on the desktop; I have mine on a shelf over the desk. The clamp is strong enough to allow vertical mounting as well. The only place I've noticed that the clamp does not work is on round material, like pipes or modular shelves.
