BlastCase New Interchangeable Power Charging Adapter & Cable for Nintendo Wii U Gamepad

I picked this charging cable up after and an unfortunate incident with the recliner in my living room cut the OEM cord. After some time I decided on this charger rather than some of the others on Amazon and I couldn't be more pleased.Pros: Cable is longer than OEM so I am able to run it from my surge protector at my desk to the spot on my bookshelf where I store the Wii-U tablet when not in use.It seems to charge faster than the OEM charger did.The Cons: It is grey rather than black. This is just me being nitpicky and not enough for me to rate less than five stars considering it seems to be performing better than the original but if it were black it would be much more aesthetically pleasing.

We have a kitten and that kitten decided this would be an AWESOME chew toy...it destroyed the OEM power supply so I had to spring to get a new one. Being 100% honest here, I picked this one because it was the most inexpensive. I wasn't sure if that would impact longevity or effectiveness but it doesn't appear to be any less functional than the original. It also feels just as study.If you have a kitten, puppy or child that breaks your wii tablet charger, I think this will suit you just fine and hopefully at a great price.

This item is a regular purchase for my family because my brother always chews the ends of his Wii U charger due to his disorder and I am pretty sure I have reviewed this product before. This charging adapter is much cheaper than the Nintendo brand and works just as well. I cannot speak for the longevity of the charger because we have to buy a new one every few months, but this is high quality so I would think it would be just as durable as the Nintendo brand charger.

Functions just under par. The charger produces just enough energy to allow the gamepad to "hold" its charge at the low power setting. It immediately begins having an epileptic spasm of changing the brightness of the screen. This is where I have deduced that it is capable of the absolute minimum necessary charge. When the battery light comes on, you plug in your charger, but because the charger is weak it can only power it enough to the point where it is into the "normal" playing threshold (where the screen is maximum brightness and the light is orange or blue). The moment the gamepad switches over to the brighter setting the charger can no longer supply the necessary power to maintain and the seizure-inducing effects begin.

I lost my charger for my Wii u gamepad. This one works great, just like the old one. It was a cheap replacement that I couldn't even purchase at game stop. I am very thankful for this charger. The only thing is it is a little fragile but for the price I payed it was definitely worth it and much more convenient than going through Nintendo to get a new one like game stop said I needed to do.

I love this alot I needed a new one so when I seen this it came in the mail fast didn't take 2 long and it came nice box up and I had have this for about 2 years now and it works perfectly and never broke or mess up i love this im going buy 2 more coming up soon so I have more but I would definitely recommend this to anyone

We've only been using it for a couple of weeks but it seems just like the one that came with the Wii U game-pad.We will just leave it plugged into the cradle for charging instead of plugging it into the actual game-pad, from now on.(Our original one broke at the connection for that box there, presumably from flexing as my nephew moved around holding the game-pad.)I'll update if it fails, so you can know how long it lasted us and under what conditions.

Arrived within two days with prime. Packaged well. Plugged it in, hooked it up to our WiiU, and the device turned on immediately. This is the second time I've ordered this cord. The first lasted two years, which I thought was pretty good for a cord mashed behind the couch and pulled on frequently. Great price, too. Will buy again in another two years, I'm sure.

This item is a good replacement for the original power adapter for the WII U. Our puppy chewed the cable for the original and this replacement restored the functionality of the console.
