JW Pet Company Smarttemp Thermometer Aquarium Accessory

Was indecisive in buying this since I didn’t know if the numbers were going to be accurate, but I don’t regret it!Love how it’s big enough to read the numbers and that it’s made out of plastic! Also, it’s the perfect medium size!It did came a little dirty in the magnet part, but you can’t see it once you cover it with the other magnet.Will definitely be buying a heater next for my aquarium now that I know the water temperature!

I have been searching endlessly for an aquarium thermometer that is accurate and reliable…slim pickings out there. I purchased two of these for my 55 gallon aquarium and was quite happy when I took them out of the package and they both read the exact same temperature. After installing them in my aquarium, which was very easy, they quickly adjusted to the water temperature and still hold the same temperature between the two. The magnet feels strong upon first inspection and holds up probably good enough through my standard aquarium glass. It seems to move easily if bumped so we’ll see if I have any problems with my sucker fish or giant snail knocking it off. So far so good. I’d definitely recommend it.
