no. there's arrows for the correct direction. would likely damage the pump running it backwards.

I custom built my own cooler with this pump. Cool mate was too expensive.

what is the input shaft and coupling for this pump?

The shaft on the motor is slotted where the pump shaft is a blade that fits in the slot of the motor shaft. They are coupled by a clamp that secures onto a groove on outer body of both the motor and pump.
