My panasonic tv specifies it has pcm/dolby digital output, but cannot be set to pcm only.  will this adapter work with my tv?

Most DAC converters in the market only support LPCM/ PCM format, not compatible with 5.1 Channel Signal Such as Dolby AC-3/DTS. You have to set your smart TV to PCM format output each time.

The DAC will convert Digital to Analog via Optical Audio Toslink Cable from your device to the DAC. And the DAC to your Priva II via RCA or 3.5mm cables. And the Priva II will Wifi to your headset or other wifi devices.

I have lg tv, ( older model)   how do  i check  it's pcm or lpcm ?

Go to Settings / Sound / Sound Out / Choose External Speaker ( with this option it may show you an option to choose output format Auto or PCM. Depending on your model, the options will be different but it should have PCM listed with other formats. I have a LG 2014 model and it does have it. I hope you this is helpful.
