Great Litter Box
So glad I found this stainless steel litter box, cats adopted right away. Love that it is 8 inches deep.

Huge and sturdy
I have 3 large ragdoll cats. So I know you are suppose to have one extra litter box more than how many cats you have. I only have 3 litter boxes because of my small space. Growing up, we never had more than one litter box even though at times we would have more than one cat. In the past decade or two this has been a new concept - to have multiple litter boxes. And I guess you do really need many litter boxes because these new generation cats are so damn different. I don’t know if it’s just certain breeds or what but they act like they can’t use the same gotdamn box! 😅 So at first I started with three boxes but I really wanted them to try to use two because of the space constraints, so I got rid of one, was down to two but they would go outside the boxes, specifically my female cat. I also noticed that one of the litter boxes was sort of too small. (In the pictures the one in the middle is the small one) It’s funny because the smallest box was described as a litter box for large cats and that’s why I got it. I did have a enclosure over it so that it can look more aesthetically pleasing but after some years it fell apart so we threw it out. Soon I will be replacing it with either the clear one in the pic or this metal one. I like this metal one the best! It is huge, strong, sturdy and best of all, can be easily cleaned. It doesn’t look so bad looking either as a litter box without a hood usually looks. That was the main concern I had with getting one without a cover, is the way it would look. But it actually looks…’nice’? I use pine or crystal litter. Right now it has crystal litter in it and is working out great. It’s good for sifting through with the spatula. The metal seems like it helps to repel odors. The crystals with the metal pan is a good combination to combat odors I think. Yes it is time for a total dump and clean with all 3 boxes as you can see. But trust me, although the boxes look dusty (mainly because I use baby powder in the litter) there is absolutely no stinky smells. I highly recommend especially if you have large cats.

Should last a lifetime
This cat box is what I was looking for. I wanted to stray away from plastic and keep it simple without any automation system. I also wanted a larger cat box than usual that has high walls – one that is strong with an open top and will last a really long time while being easy to maintain and keep clean. It's not quite as thick or sturdy as a kitchen sink, but it doesn't need to be. It's still plenty strong and can certainly last a lifetime while being recyclable in the end. It's perfectly what I wanted and my cat greatly appreciates the room it has.

Pricey but worth it
Even though I feel that this is expensive, ultimately I do think it is worth it. Hardly any litter is flung out due to the high sides and find it easy to clean

Great Size & Reduced Odors
Bought 2 to try for our 3 cats as we had read about metal litter boxes reducing the smell/odor from litter. I can confirm that the odor has been significantly reduced and we haven’t really changed out the brands of litter we use. The size we got is perfect too as it’s deep enough to help keep litter inside as one of our cats loves to kick litter outside of the box.It is worth the extra cost to have a metal litter box that’ll last longer, help keep the space around the box cleaner, and reduce odors. We will definitely be buying a 3rd.
