I bought several different gumball machines for my classroom reward system and this was the only thing that has worked. It is plastic instead of glass, but I like that more because there isn't a risk of breaking it. The metal is very good quality. I am not worried about it breaking or a ball getting stuck. This is a great purchase!

I looked for many hours finding the right machine at a price I was comfortable with. Very happy I found this available used. It looks and feels like any toy/candy dispenser you'd see in public. It is one of the smaller ones I've seen with a commercial look but for the price it still hold 400+ plastic capsules. The dish/display isn't glass. Initially I wished it was but it would have been significantly heavier and there's always the chance of breaking. My only wish is that if it have a free spin option. I know people modify these but I don't see much online about converting this model so keep that in mind.

I loved the blue color, which is why I chose this specific candy machine. It does seem cheaply made. I was expecting the bowl and base to be plastic (which they are) but I was also expecting the parts that are silver to be metal (which they aren't). The inside mechanism is metal and that's the most important part I suppose. It did come with two keys which is important to me because I'm always misplacing a key; I like to have a backup. It holds a lot of candy. Different shaped candy does tend to get stuck occasionally and sometimes it doesn't dispense anything. I just keep backup quarters handy in case I need to make up for an empty withdrawal.

I’m using it for personal use at home and it works great! I bought 1 inch acorn capsules to use in it. It took a little time to figure out directions and how to get it to work properly but once I did it was easy. I did have to look up video explanations as the written directions were not clear.

Got this as a reward system for my kids. I don’t know why I didn’t sooner!!! Now I need one for work haha

As an adult, I finally decided it was time to get a decorative gumball machine for my office. The 25" blue model is what I picked. Brings me back to the old days as a kid at Publix. I had my reservations seeing the relatively low price but was happy to see a high-quality machine that - with no/minimal use - could last 100 years. I also imagine you could truck this thing over to kids' parties, bringing in a literal and figurative ROI.The only "customer surprise" I'll call out is that the machine comes with plexiglass. I imagine there are pros and cons to adoption of this material, but I will say that the plexiglass instantly scratches on the sides when installing. I'm Karen-ing a little because you can't really see the far edges once the machine is setup anyway.You can also pick up 2" capsules on Amazon for cheap. What you see in the photos is 150 capsules. 200 would fully top it off.

The metal door that dispenses the gumballs breaks and becomes dislodged very easily. This is not suitable to be handled roughly. Just keep the box, because it you want this to do more than look cute, you will be sending it back.It comes pre assembled and packed tight in foam. All you have to do is turn the key and fill it with your favorite gumballs. It takes quarters, and for that quarter it will dispense a handful of small gumballs or two larger ones.
