"Not A Pheasant Plucker..."
the 20 Pheasant feathers that arrived in a cellophane bag were all in very good nick and were remarkably consistent as regards length. I am a little confused by the fact that the assertion in the advertising that these are "Purely natural pheasant tail feathers" is immediately followed by stating they are "hand-made" - those are mutually exclusive statements. And as I have never seen pheasants representing almost every colour of the rainbow, as these feathers do, I 'm going with the assumption that these are natural feather that have been artificially coloured.Contemporary technology is good, but we have not yet created an artificial feather that combines the lightness, strength, self-locking and self-cleaning capacity and aesthetic beauty of the real thing, and these are quite definitely real feathers. I would just recommend that you ensure you know what 25-30cm represents if you are someone who still tends to think in old money so you won't be disappointed; as pheasant feathers are not anything like as long as peacock feathers. These are a nice collection a of consistent sized feathers in good condition in a good variety of colours.

Pretty (dyed?) feathers; length was as advertised, but they are quite narrow
When these arrived they were smaller than I had expected, but their size is indeed what is advertised, so my expectations were wrong here! The feathers I received were very pretty, and looked similar to those shown in the listing. They were mostly around 28cm long. I hadn't realised how narrow foot-long feathers would be, though. I was hoping to make some quills out of them, but they are barely large enough. Some of the plumes are only 20mm wide and the feather shafts are around 2mm in diameter, which is almost too small to make a viable quill with. I'll have a go nonetheless, and as I said, the feathers are very pretty and are the size advertised, so they have lots of other creative uses.

Slim pickings
These are pretty basic looking feathers that have been coloured I would presume as not natural looking. You get 20 pcs but they are quite thin so depending on your needs may not be suitable. They do seem a little expensive to me for the quality at £9.99.Looking at the pictures in ad you would be lead to believe that they are really long suitable for a headdress but they are a lot shorter than those pictured.I haven't quite decided how I will use them at the minute, you could add to a hairstyle or hat for Halloween but I do feel they will be more for a craft project due to size rather than headwear.

Darker than picture
These are definitely darker than I was expecting based on the pictures, tbh though I'm using them in a hat for Halloween so it's not an issue for me but something to bear in mind if you specifically need bright feathers. They are exactly the length I was looking for although, again, nowhere near as long as the headress pictures in the listing suggest so be mindful of that. They are great for what I wanted, have taken a star off though as only realised they'd be suitable by reading the other reviews, not from the listing itself.Delivery was very fast!

A Bit Dissapointing
Well the feathers do, just about, match the description given by the manufacturer. Where I did feel a little let down though was that the pictures somewhat exagerate their brightness and one picture in particular give the impression that the feathers are a lot longer they they actually are. I'm referring to the picture with the two individuals wearing feather head dresses. The reality is that they are a little "flat" and the colours are some what dull. Each is barely eleven inches in length as well.

OK for crafting
Nice selection of colours, only one or two of each colour which is fine for our purpose (kid's crafting). The colours aren't overly bright but if you bring them into the light they are quite vivid colours.I assume that these feathers aren't "ethically harvested" (i.e. moulted feathers that have dropped off a bird) but with being pheasant feathers I presume they've come from dead birds for meat so at least the animal isn't being plucked whilst alive, which I was horrified to find out actually happens with geese and ostriches and such ☹️

Very pretty vibrant coloured pheasant feathers that are great for crafting, putting onto hats or just a handful in a vase. You get a lot in the pack and they all seem like good quality ones no tatty feathers in the pack.My favourite colour has to be the pink one in the selection. They are as bright as the web picture shows.Work out good value for money and yes can see lots of uses with these.
