For a few months, I have been looking for a cheaper alternative to a product I have used previously. I am the human companion of a 17 year old Calico known as Gizzmo. Despite her age she still has quite a few of her original teeth left. I purchased this in an attempt to help her keep her remaining teeth. I sprinkle this powder over her dry kibble and mix it in thoroughly. Kibble with a pungent fishy flavour seems to work best/ It has been a little while since I brought this, yet it seems to be working. Her breath is no longer capable of peeling off my wallpaper at home!

Bought this in September and almost gave up, but today end of January a huge piece of plaque came off, so now I'll persevere

Decided to buy a cheaper option because it comes in a pack as opposed to a container with a lid to keep it airtight since I had a few empty containers I can reuse. Win win.

I have paid for the brand my vet sells in the past but the ingredients of this pouch are the same and at a much better cost for a huge pack. The zip lock is slightly more annoying as I fear it will go stale if not done up securely after each use, but it would be easy to transfer into an air tight container and this is what I will do.The dog likes it and although some oh her teeth are probably too covered in plaque to make a dramatic difference, her front teeth are definitely looking quite good considering her mature age.

We've been using this product for a while and it really seems to have improved the plaque situation on our dog's teeth. She smells better too!

Some dogs have beautiful clean teeth all their lives but some are a nightmare, needing multiple dentals in their lifetime, which is not good for them, or good for your wallet! That's where this stuff comes in. If you have a dog that's prone to bad teeth, put some of this in their food every day and when you brush their teeth at the end of the day, the plaque will come off much more easily and will not tend to build up to troublesome levels. It's just dehydrated seaweed and as most dogs love munching on a bit of fresh kelp stalk when you take them to the beach, you won't have any trouble getting them to eat it, even in dry food.

got a big pack as i thought good value for the price, and my cat, who can be fussy, is ok with eating it sprinkled on her dinner. however, unlike the stuff i used before, this sadly gives her diarrhoea. i am certain, as i've stopped giving it to her (one scoop/day for a 3.5 kg young otherwise healthy cat) after the first bout, then re-introduced it at a lower dose -- but the same happened again. also very smelly poop. it's more fine-grained and powdery than the stuff i previously used.
