how long do the results last from this product

It really depends on how often you wash your hair. I wash mine everyday and use 2-3 pumps daily, my girlfriend washes her hair every 3-4 days, and only applies it in between washes. For a long term (1 week) I suggest Simply Smooth magic potion intense blowout. It is just a once application per week. I'm a male with short hair, my girlfriend has long very thick hair. We both love these products. Just the Simply Smooth xtend cuts drying time in more than half, and if your using an iron or hot curler the heat conditions hair even more. Hope this was helpful.

Unused product has turned from original mauve pink color to decidedly grey. Has anyone else experienced this and is it still ok to use?

I have been using this product for years it’s never been grey. Make sure it’s the right product they make a few different kinds. It’s always been purplish pink.

Does this make your hair oily? Also, do you put I on top of head or just bottom of hair?

Does not make my hair oily. I spray it in palm (rub palms together), rub through wet hair with fingers, then comb through hair. Dry hair as usual. Have used this product for a few years. Love it.

Is this sulfate free?

Yes, this is sulfate free. Good product but I don't use it any longer.
