If the alternator has a recall. Take it to the dealer. It won't cost anything. Much better than trying to pay for it and replace yourself or at a garage.

First off. It is a remanufactured alternator. It works great but is not new as stated. Output is 160 amps. Running at idle 14.2 volts. At causing speeds 14.5 volts.
