WOW .... this soap is exquisite !! As a barber I am always looking for the best of the best for my clients and myself. I recently purchased 8 of the best selling soaps on amazon. The other soaps were great but I did not care for ones that had perfume or fragrance in them. This shave soap is as natural as it gets and with nothing but essential oils, it tops the charts. This soap has a master blend of essential oils ( cedar wood, lavender, tea tree, lime, rosemary.)Building lather is almost an art and takes practice. There are plenty of youtube videos on " how to's " on the subject.This soap gathers very well on the straight razor blade with no dripping. You will look forward to your shaves with this soap. The soap is as perfect as it gets. Wanting to stick with vegan products, I came across this. I was skeptical as I have tried other brands that were decent, but nothing special. I am literally amazed at this product. It lathers extremely well, doesn't leave the face greasy, and adds a slight bit of moisture. I use a synthetic shaving brush and a few twirls and it creates a nice thick lather that does NOT disappear or run down your face. I could not be happier with this product. I look forward to buying my second one when I finish the first, worth every penny!

Lathers easily. Not a fluffy thick lather (think more soapy/lubricant feel). Has a pleasant and tame cedar smell. I have very sensitive skin and this did not produce my usual day after irritation from shaving. Note that there are other soaps that do not give me irritation as well, so this soap joins that group. Officially on my personal shortlist for approved soaps for my skin - probably applies to others with similar skin type as mine.For reference, I wet shave with an electric rotary and use white Proraso preshave/warm water with my soaps.

I have what I guess is a considerable collection of shave soaps and creams. Several hundred different. I really enjoy trying every kind I can. Everything about this soap greatly impressed me. Very slick, extremely rich and thick, excellent protection, and in my humble opinion, a good true Cedar fragrance. As soon as I touched this soap to my face I could appreciate the outstanding quality. Id strongly recommend it to anyone. Really worth the money.

This shaving soap is truly spectacular. It lathers up beautifully, has the perfect thickness, and leaves my skin incredibly soft. It has an amazingly pleasant smell that carries a nice lime kick from the essential oils. I’ve tried other shaving soaps, pucks, gels, and foams, but this is by far superior to anything I've tried. My last soap puck lasted roughly 18 months, so I figured that if the Maison Lambert soap lasts even half that long it’s well worth the price.

Not only are their products top of the line, but Maison Lambert goes above and beyond with their customer service. They actually noticed that I ordered the wrong item one time, and were thoughtful enough to email me, and ask me if that's what I really wanted based off what I had ordered previously. That's impressive!

This is my favorite shaving soap. The way it softens the beard makes using shaving oil an option. A rich and luxurious feeling lather that really works for me. This is the one I always recommend. With quality ingredients, this soap is truly outstanding. Please look close at the ingredients because some people will not like the smell of tea tree oil for example, which gives a slight medicinal smell. This is the only shaving soap for me and will continue use it exclusively.A helpful hint: Do not use a wet brush on this product, just a damp one. If you need to create more lather, add water to your brush after the soap has been applied to your shaving area.

Wow this stuff is classy. All my shaving products are Lambert and I love them all. I’m new to safety razors and can’t believe what I was missing. Shaving is fun again and somewhat relaxing. This soap lathers nice and lends to a great shave. The smell is manly and classy. The price isn’t cheap but why would it be.
