Roman’s E-Z Hang Peel & Stick Wallpaper Helper, Clear, Non-Staining, 32 Fluid Ounces

I have used peel and stick contact paper (often called wallpaper now) many, many times and always ended up frustrated if the pieces were of any length. No matter how hard I tried, longer pieces always ended up going off-track/sideways/crooked. I could never get them perfectly straight. It got to the point that, although I LOVE contact paper because it offers an inexpensive way to make a big change, I gave up using it. I discovered this product quite by accident, while reading reviews here on Amazon, one of which mentioned this product. I was looking for wallpaper for an accent wall in my newly remodeled kitchen, found exactly what I wanted, but it was the peel and stick contact paper so I hadn't order it. Once I read about this product, I ordered it AND the contact paper I liked and VIOLA, no more problems with wrong placement or off-kilter alignment. **This stuff allows you to reposition the paper and get it perfectly placed without compromising how well the paper will adhere long term (which does happen if peel and stick paper is pulled off and repositioned too many times without use of this product). **It does require a generous application (sprayed onto the wall) to make sure it doesn't start to dry before you get the paper in place. **It's messy and drippy; I used cardboard pieces laid on the floor up against the wall to keep the floor clean. **BE SURE TO WIPE ANY EXCESS PRODUCT that squeezes through the seams onto neighboring pieces or drips on the floor or on trim, etc, while the product is still wet. This stuff dries as a glue, so clean up any excess immediately with wet rag and CLEAN water. If working on a large area, change water as necessary. I kept an ice cream pail of water and a rag next to me throughout installation. **I tried brushing the product onto the wall instead of spraying it on to be less messy, but that didn't work, couldn't seem to get it on thick enough. so went back to spraying the wall, as directed, and using a small plastic paint scraper to spread the product evenly over the area of the piece being applied. **Do NOT spray ahead of the piece of contact/wallpaper you are applying! You have a limited time to get the paper on before the product starts to dry, but plenty of time to position and reposition the paper exactly as needed. If it starts to dry out, respray the area. (When I was working by a heat vent, I turned the furnace down so it wouldn't kick in because the blowing warm air was drying out the product too quickly.) **The product also makes getting air bubble out very easy. I only had one piece that had an air bubble after the paper was applied, and it was very easy to get it out. **I ended up with a perfect installation, thanks COMPLETELY to the use of this product.

I've never hung peel and stick before but after reading all the reviews, I decided to try it so I don't know how much easier it made it, without anything to compare to - but I did have to unstick and restick multiple times and I am pretty positive this spray helped my paper stick to our orange peel textured walls. My only call out is that the spray is more like a stream and it bounced off the walls and got EVERYWHERE so my feet were sticky and I had to mop the ground after. Definitely make sure you don't have anything within a three or four radius of the area you are working or it will be sticky after. Other than that, works like a charm and easy to clean up.

Please please please do not attempt peel and stick wallpaper hanging without this product! Make your life easier - less hair pulling out - less waste - better appearance of finished look! I made the mistake of NOT using this the first time and had to reposition a partial row and literally ripped the drywall! 😭. This product was recommended and I was being cheap and didn’t get it. So I paid for it in ruining a roll of wallpaper lol. Drying time was fast once up on the wall and it makes smoothing out uneven sections a breeze. Please learn for this girls mistakes and buy it

I've hung peel and stick twice. Once a few years ago without this product, and once this week with this product. This product makes hanging the wallpaper a much easier process, as it allows for removing and repositioning to align the pattern. Great product, would absolutely purchase again.

This is not only useful for putting contact paper up on walls but also for putting it on furniture. At first I was not sure but after going back and forth a couple times of trying without, this definitely makes a BIG difference on fixing your mistakes, much easier to lift and reposition the paper. And it truly doesn't show up on your paper even if you smear it on top. I would buy this again anytime I am doing a project with peel-and-stick papers. Lost a star because the sprayer is not great, it just comes out in globs, and it stops spraying anymore once it's bent over too much, which again, since I was doing furniture and not a vertical wall, was a bit annoying. I just sprayed some and then rubbed it around evenly with a glove on. It seems best to try to keep it fairly thin and not go too wild or it may make air bubbles worse.

My beautiful wallpaper shares a wall with a large a/c vent and the paper edges kept peeling up. No matter how I tried to keep them down. I only used one thin application of this product a week ago and it sealed perfectly, not one piece has peeled. It’s so easy to apply because of the spray feature. It does not stink or have fumes. I am so happy with it! Yay thanks!!

Helped me tremendously with hanging my wallpaper! This is a wallpaper installation essential for me now. No odor, and the dry time last long enough to continue adjustments. It helps keep the wall paper appearance consistent. My wallpaper is sealed and hasn’t budged! The size of the bottle will last for along time! A little goes a long way!

Peel and stick is not my preferred mural, I don't trust that it's not going to peel off eventually, plus there is no adjusting without losing some adherence. I saw this on a YouTube video since the peel and stick mural I bought had pathetic instructions and no support. This mural was huge at 9' high and 14' wide so it was already a challenge. I read the instruction on the E-Z Hang bottle and I must say that I don't agree with the coverage. It says it cover 60 sq ft, but I ended up not using a 2nd bottle and hung 120 sq ft with 1 bottle. I can't imagine putting twice as much of this spray on, it would be soaking and glue would be everywhere. What else I discovered on the 1st piece is that the top would not stay up. Even with only using half of the required spray, I could not keep it from sliding down, I ended up having to use painters tape to keep it up, which ended up taking a piece of paint with it when removing it. So, on every piece following, I ended up not spraying the wall for the top 6 inches and just relied on the peel and stick mural. That worked much better, and I didn't adhere the top until the rest was lined up with the overlap and pattern. I did not spray the bottom 6" either since you're pushing all of the glue towards the bottom anyways, too much spay was not letting it stay flat. The edges did not do well, so I'm not sure if the E-Z hang or the mural is to blame for this, but it all has to do with the overlap and cutting and peeling off the excess, it doesn't adhere well after all of that. It was all a difficult hang and I do have experience at doing this. I would probably rate this product as a 3.5 star

I love to upcycle various things with a bit of contact paper and this makes it far easier to align things when I need to. I know most contact papers claim they are removeable but often times they will end up ripping or stretching, which destroys the pattern. This makes it very easy to reposition them and adds a bit more "stick" as well... no peeling on any of my projects this far!

This product saved the day. I bought an expensive peel and stick wallpaper from Etsy. We applied it to the wall and cut it to measure. Within just a few hours, the wallpaper was coming off the wall majorly. At that point, nothing could have helped us put back the wallpaper perfectly, but this product helped us salvage the situation. The wallpaper is still attached to the wall 3 days later. I would suggest that people use the spray from the start, as I think it also helps with pushing out air and reducing air bubles. I think the spray bottle would be enough for a medium sized room, we only used about a third on the largest wall. I have to note that Amazon seems to be selling this product for twice the price from other retailers; however, the convenience and one-day shipping were worth it.

I bought this hoping it may assist with self adhesive wallpaper, and it did - to a point, but it certainly didn't make it super easy and the product (if it gets on other paint work) stains like a water mark.
