Singing Rock Rope Protector

Used this rope protector for a week long spelunking trip this summer into the Marble Mountains. There is some really rough granite and limestone throughout the region that would be murder on ropes. It totally saved our gear. Held up very well in some really sharp terrain. I used 10mm static and dynamic rope and it fit without any trouble. Fairly easy to apply. Slides easily up and down the rope. Has a webbing loop on either end which conveniently allows you to hold the rope protector in place with some webbing or carabiners. Its a very sturdy protector, so its not the most light weight piece. But it does fold up nicely to easy storage. Would totally buy it again.

Probably the most rugged rope condoms I've used. The tradeoff to their thickness and durability is they are not super flexible but mine are still pretty new so they'll probably soften up with time. These are well worth the money. The pull webbing is solidly stitched on as well. Highly recommend as a very cheap insurance policy for expensive climbing ropes (dynamic and static).

The construction of this rope protector is very well made, it protect my rope from sharp edges and abrasion with minimum damage to the protector and zero damage to the rope.This protector uses Velcro to "seal" the rope and is very strong, few times the rope with load "roll" and the protector hold it with no problem.It folds and packs with no problem.The only thing I don;t like, you need to be careful with the Velcro because it grabs everything.I recommend this item for hard use in the field, this protector have 3 layers of material, PVC - Fabric - PVC

Works well once it’s on the rope, but the sleeve is so small, it’s very annoying to put on

Solid feel, fits perfect on a single line. Helps keep my rope organized when i pack it up too, easier to find the end of the line.

Works well, but only for smaller rope. Would be great if it would accommodate a larger rope.

Good quality. Very happy with the purchase. Have already used it a couple of times.

Quality item. Secures well with a tent stake, pretty damn good job of protecting the rope from sharp edges. Recommended.
