I like these pants; I like made in the USA, no padding, no logo, and nylon rather than polyester. But they run really small. I see now that they are called compression shorts, but of course they popped up when I searched for bike shorts. If I exchange, I will ask for at least one size larger, maybe two. I bought a medium because that is listed as a 32-34 inches. But the waistline is only 24 inches. I expect some stretch, but not 10 inches. The leg grippers are smaller than my other bike shorts, but then they are long and therefore gripping a little lower on the thigh. Bottom line: be aware of whether you want a girdle or some bike shorts.

These are the best unpadded riding shorts I've ever found (and the most expensive.) Like many other reviewers here I ride a recumbent so padded shorts are out of the question. At 6' 180lbs 32" waist, the Medium fit me perfectly. Material looks and feels high quality and the shorts stay in place while riding, very comfortable. I do wear sports boxer briefs under them; would be a waste to wear anything else over them because the fabric has such a nice finish and the flat lock stitching is flawless. Bought three pairs and will be ordering more.

Have been wearing this make/model of shorts for recumbent riding for about 8 years. This purchase was an addition to that wardrobe. Not disappointed. If they seem smaller, it's not because of the shorts.

These fit as expected from the waist size. Shorts like this - simply unpadded cycling shorts - are hard to find now and I really appreciate these being available. It would be nice to have them in shorter inseam, but I like them a lot.

It was suggested by my cardiac team to get these bike pants, without padding, to help with Lymphedema fluid buildup.I was sceptical at first, but they did not over compress the upper thighs, as I thought they may.They are better than the multiple layers of gauze wrap. sleeves to protect the skin.

The shorts are great. I had trouble finding good non-padded shorts and these are perfect. Nice material and they stay put. The legs have grippers and the elastic on the waist keeps them in place nicely. I am 5' 10" 156 pounds and the small size fit perfect.

I wear these under my motorcycle riding pants or Aerostich suit. No monkey but and no weird gel pad to scrunch up your cheeks.Excellent!

I bought these for rowing. They're adequately discreet and comfortable. I bought a size up because I didn't want compression shorts, I wanted rowing shorts... which is what I got... which is what I wanted... which is good.
