I’m giving these rods a 5 because they work exactly as they should. . I didn’t feel that I should deduct a star because the problem I had was so easily rectified. The ends of the poles that actually grip the wall are made of hard plastic when they should be rubber. So I ordered 3/4 inch chair leg protectors and problem solved. The rubber holds the rods in place perfectly. I use them to hold a curtain in a skylight window to block the direct sunlight. The rods hold the tension well so the curtains stay in place. I highly recommend this product and if you find they slip just put the rubber feet on them. For the price they are well worth it.

Liked the ease of use and adjustability. Great tension and hold. Very sturdy. Great value for the price. I ordered white and the white color was as pictured. This smaller size is hard to find and worked well for my mini curtain.

These rods were good, but I wasn’t able to use them for what I wanted.

I am using these with heavy linen/insulated drapes and they are not bowing, after a few weeks. Hope it stays that way.

Our house was added on to years ago. My current office originally had a real window that was sealed off by the renovation, so somebody (NOT ME) decided to make it into a mirror… I REALLY disliked the mirror…. I would frequently see my evil twin invading my office. Honestly it just creeped me out, having a constant reflection. So we covered it with a GIANT poster (I bought from Amazon as well), put up some curtains…. It looked decent but I wanted slats/bars/whatever you call it so it looked more like a window. After searching high and low for square dowels and wooden rods and on, and on, I settled on spring rods. I wish they were a bit bigger (wider/dimensions), but I wasn’t going to pay much either…. TA-DA! It looks good enough for me! The only issue? You have to unscrew the rod (past the length you want) then pop it into place. It took quite some time to unscrew these because they are wound very tightly. My window measures 48 x 36 inches so it was difficult to find one size that would work for both lengths and I really didn’t want to have to order two different sizes that wouldn’t match……
