ScandiKitchen: Fika and Hygge: Comforting cakes and bakes from Scandinavia with love

I now have 3 of her books. Recipes are simple easy to follow and not only authentic but taste to yummy! I have a ridiculous amount of cook books - I read them like a book and cook from them. She has become my go to author for Scandinavian cookbooks. My heritage is from this area and her cooking is so good.

My go to was the hershey cookbook for my dessert needs. No more! I have made 3 recipes since receiving the book a week ago and they are all simply fantastic. Easy to follow. The photos are accurate to what you will make. Just in love. Now to get some ligonberries to make the cake on the front for Christmas.

Gonna preface this by saying I'm a bit obsessed with Scandinavia, I spent my honeymoon in Norway and Denmark and this year we went to Sweden and we loved the concept of Hygge and Fika so this book brings me back! I serve treats for our customers on Saturdays and so far the Sylvia cake and the Nutella buns we're big hits, the only thing im a little sad about is that there's no recipe for School Bread but otherwise the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I'm very excited to keep making the recipes!

Wonderful gift for a baker.

this cookbook author gives her audience the best cookbooks i have seen in ages. being scandinaviani am delighted with the authentic recipes from scandinavia. i subscribed to the cafe's blog also.great stories and such fun.

I took a DNA test...found out I am 22% Swedish...so I simply had to learn more about the culture in a medium I already understood...baking. This book was perfect...lovely pictures, great stories and I am now all about Fika in my own life.

Love the recipes. Can't wait to make some of them.

This is such a beautiful book, of coffee table quality, with a lovely assortment of useful recipes. I keep looking at it, and I was finally pushed to make my first prinsesstårta with good results.

Adorei esse livro, todas as receitas funcionam e não tive nenhuma dificuldade para converter as medidas.As fotografias são maravilhosas, a diagramação foi cuidadosa e demonstra o trabalho caprichoso que a autora teve com esse projeto.
