Quilting enthusiasts who are fed up with low voltage irons that don’t get hot or stay hot - here is your answer! Great, heavy, serious iron. It doesn’t automatically shut-off! Hooray! We just need to train ourselves to do so. Set-up was interesting. I ended up purchasing an IV pole from Amazon for about $25. Works perfectly to hang water container. Note that there is a filter bottle included - you don’t see it in pictures or directions for set-up. I purchased more filter filler to have ready when needed. I cranked this puppy up and proceeded to iron the all cotton and lace kitchen curtains. Wow! A challenge to get ironed but this unit did it beautifully! Consistent High heat and clean steam. Quilters dream.One month in. Hose leaks a bit. Be mindful of secure connection iron. Not enough to reduce rating, but water could stain fabrics.

This has replaced all the irons in my possession. It was referred to me by my tailor and I have had no regrets . Ironing is now a breeze and thanks to the heat shield there is no need to worry about the iron making direct contact with my clothes . The instructions were not good but the iron is easy to use

I am amazed how easy it is to use and to set up this iron, and super impressed how well it works. I Don’t even need to replace my vertical steamer since this gravity iron works vertically too. The steam is strong and very dry. If using an ironing table you don’t need to keep going back to the same spot... one pass and you’re good. Unbelievable

I LOVE that this iron does not turn off. I am in my sewing room for hours and this iron is on as long as I need it and the steam is at my finger tiips.

Bought my iron 6 months ago. I make garments out of silk and linen and was hoping this iron would get out the wrinkles more sufficiently than my regular iron. I followed all directions for best results, adding demineralizer, distilled water, etc. I have just not seen the results I was hoping for, not doing any better at getting out wrinkles than my regular iron. Just used it yesterday and when at rest, the base began leaking a whole lot of water. I am very disappointed.

I use this everyday and it has been great so far. would definitely buy again.

This is an outstanding product for a great price.
