Leapers SCP-DS3840TDQ Inc., UTG 4.2" ITA Red/Green T-Dot with QD Mount, Riser Adaptor

Although it is much larger than the Red Dot (an off brand micro) I'm replacing with this T-Dot sight, it is a nice sight overall. I just have to decide what carbine I'm going to set it on, but I really like the T-Dot, and having it in both red & green are a plus. Though they aren't pictured the flip-up sight covers are very nice, and can be reversed or moved into whichever position you'd like. The lockable turrets are excellent, and better than using a screwdriver, or coin to adjust... these are similar to the turrets on my UTG Bug Buster that I also like, and have on a 300 AAC Blackout Carbine. I would have preferred a locking mount, but the included mount stays in place very well, and is easily adjustable. The risers have plenty of mounting options for higher, lower, or forward and back, and use regular phillips head screws. Mounts are 1/3 co-witness, or absolute if you prefer. For the price I think this a great option from the usual dot only systems if you don't mind the larger foot print. I recall seeing these right at $50, and slowly getting up in price. Get'em while you can!

I like the fact that this sight is quick detach and the MOA of the T Dot center dot is small. The sight was too high to have an absolute Co- witness or dot sit on top of the front sight post. With it's riser on an Ar 15 it is 1/3 co-witness with the iron sights below the center of the optic. After removing the sight's riser and putting the quick detach back on it was a perfect Co'witness and my dot sits on top of my flip ip iron sight post perfectly! You can also move the optic forward of the base to Cantilever the sight over the front handguard if you need to , to put a magnifier in behind it. The screw plate holes allow for this. Well engineered! Very pleased with it and it comes with tools and flip up scope caps. Batteries are supplied with it. Adjust the quick release on the picatinny rail by loosening the hex head on the lever and slowly tightening it till it just gets enough tension to close the lever on the rail. it locks up nice. Can't beat it for the money. The single CQB dot model was just a little large at 4 MOA for me since i prefer 2 MOA, so I got this T Dot one instead. You can beat the price for the quality IMO.

It's good .... I recently went to the range with it. I noticed a glair at the top of scope. It's not bad but, clearly noticeable. It zeroed easy enough... the glair is mostly when I Switched to the green "T" .. I know I Submitted a 5star rating before I took it to the range.

This is the second Leapers UTG T-Dot I have purchased. It is easy to install, perfect height, bright, easy to to adjust, and easy to see in daylight. I keep wondering, how can it be this good for such a reasonable price?

The product looked great out of the box and the red/green display was good. However, the dot/reticle would not adjust for either elevation or windage. This made the scope totally useless! I tried to contact UTG Leapers, the manufacturer of the scope, but was unsuccessful in getting into contact with anyone on several occasions. Their customer service did not return calls or e-mails regarding the defective product. I would not recommend UTG Leapers' products as they do not stand behind them.

Impulse buy.. The size of the rectile was a little too large, defeats the purpose of a RDS IMO. It felt cheap but that’s because it is cheap. Personally won’t be using it. That being said, the quality of materials and build was impressive considering the price was expecting total garbage and it wasn’t at all. Ended up returning and spending a little more money on a better optic for several different reasons regarding other components and compatibly, as a stand alone optic it’s fine if money is the bottom line.

Ok. Let me strat by saying from my initial unboxing. U can tell they care about the product. 2nd once hit hts your hands u can feel the how solid this scope is.3rd mounting and obtaining zare was a breeze i was on paper out of the box. So needless to say. So far so good.My bugaboos about this little gem are the soring load caps conjest what is already a small field of view, so those came off and problem solved. I just close them and will put them back on when done.Also the t dots lowest power setting on red is still pretty bright and makes it difficult in low light settings to not cover target completey.Overall great scope and i look forward. To using it.

The "T-dot" site is easier to use than a standard red dot when you have astigmatism. It still isn't clear, but you have more references to aim with when using a T-dot. The red and green are both bright, even at the lowest setting.

Ottimo T DOT da arma vera ... su un fucile da Soft air quindi penso si capisca da solo ... E' un po pesante per il Sot air, ma non mi devo preoccupare che prenda botte e una roccia.

Bon produit dans l'ensemble, le serrage est bien, 3 piles livrés avec.Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de le tester, juste de l'allumer pour voir que ce n'est pas un "red-dot" mais un "T-dot", comprenez; un viseur en T, d'ou les 2 étoiles en moins, mais je ne pense pas pour autant que c'est un mauvais viseur, bien au contraire !Cependant il n'est pas spécifié dans l'annonce ou les photos que le viseur est en T et non un simple point, chose que je cherchait.Faites attention lorsque vous tournez la tourelle pour régler l'intensité du viseur, à ne pas tourner le cache de la pile, cela causera des "pertes" du viseur car la pile ne sera plus en contact optimale.Positionnez donc vos doigts sur la tourelle non au bord mais au plus près du tube du viseur.On m'a déconseillé d'utiliser viseurs/lunettes de marque destiné à l'airsoft pour du tir à l'arme à feux que ce soit du 308win ou du 22lr, les lentilles ne seraient pas montés dans le même sens que les viseurs/lunettes destiné au tir ou à la chasse.Produit renvoyé et remboursement en cours.

Ich nutze dieses T-Dot auf einer S-AEG, damit also im Airsoft Bereich. Die Optik Wackelt nicht auf der Picatinnyschiene. In meinem Fall ist das Absehen klar, nicht ausgefranzt oder sonst irgendwie undeutlich. Einen Killflash kann man hier leider nicht anschrauben. Mit ein bisschen Heißkleber und Bastelarbeit könnte man aber auch das hin bekommen.Was mich ein wenig stört, sind die Schutzklappen, die in aufgeklappter Position sehr stark wackeln.Klare Kaufempfehlung von meiner Seite.
