Surprised
Works good to quieten room reverb reflections. As soon as I install I notice my mic had a lower volume , sounded darker( not bassier) , and less brittle. This let me know it is working. I posted a picture so others would understand where to put the nuts for the bolt during installation. You drop it in the slot and it holds the nut for you. I had seen other reviewers who said the bolts were to short. They are not to short it was user error. Overall happy with this purchase. This unit will not completely stop noise but it does block reflections and that's what I needed

Great product, feels sturdy... whoever designed the assembly........ we need to have a word
As in the title, great product. Feels sturdy and seems to help with room noise a bit, although I had hoped for a liiittle better result. Im using an mxl 990 cheapo condenser that is very "noisy" and I was hoping this would quell the problem. Definitely helped, but the blame is on the mic. That being said.. Satan himself designed the assembly. Placing nuts in small crevices you cant see or reach, held in place by nothing while putting the screw in, just kinda floating around hoping you hit the threads. When you adjust it it makes a loud plastic *SNAP* sound that made me think I broke it. I was a Lego fiend who graduated to IKEA furniture and kept climbing that mountain. I love putting stuff together. Idk why, but i do. I did not enjoy this one bit. Show me someone who put this together in under 24 hours without the use of profanity, and I will show you a LIAR! In all seriousness, it was pretty difficult to put together. Had I assembled these before, im sure I could've gotten it done in a reasonable amount of time, but snapping 5 pieces of plastic together took me over an hour. Thought I could tackle it on my lunch break, but nooooooohohoho. Lotta dropping nuts, lotta swearing, lotta looking up at the sky asking deep questions - most of which starting with the word, "Why?" Ultimately, im glad I got it, you should too, but you have been warned that it's a pain to put together if you have never done one before. There is absolutely NO reason that this had to be designed this way for assembly and I have NO idea who thought it was a good idea to make the customer struggle so. For real... I can't wrap my mind around who and why it was designed this way for assembly. BUT it's assembled and has been tested successfully. I am not remorseful of my purchase. I would estimate it blocked out about 30% of the room noise for my noisy mic. Good luck, and have fun!

Ingenious design matched by inferior quality
The look, the dense foam, the interlocking parts and captive screws - all wonderful. The surround - smallish but adequate. The parts - absolutely disgusting. All plastic save the bolts for the hinges and the mic stand/mic holder. The plastic hinges, I'm afraid to manipulate. The metal parts for the mic - cheap all too pliable steel. I barely touched the hood and the entire bracket bent down under weight of the hood plus mic and I had no choice but to bend it back up and let's just see how long either the bracket will hold up or the plastic hinges interlocking each panel. Sure...that's conjecture but my confidence is low. If not for the trouble of disassembly, repacking and dealing with the Return policy for which I've been sent threaten to 'cancel account' warnings I'd send this back in a heartbeat..and i may still if the window is open. Far as isolation is concerned, probably will do the job, but for how long? When my stomach is turning fearing touching gear for risk of unreliability, all enjoyment goes away.

Super in a home studio ...
The sides fold in and stay put. The roof panels are a smart idea. The small size can tuck in with a snare mic for isolation. I eventually bought 3 small and 1 large for a studio drum kit. Slightly physical to assemble and a little pricey.

Game changer
This thing really helps keep unwanted sounds out of your microphone and it's good quality and easy to build. This one is very awesome the the better version since the top also has lips which prevent audio from coming through the top. With the purchase of a adaptor I was able to put my Yeti Blue Microphone on it

quiets noise floor in an amazing way.
I am thrilled with this item. It is a game changer. I struggled with the noise floor in my audio for most of my first audiobook. With this addition, I meet the ACX noise floor requirement every time, without fail.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, facile da montare (10-15 min)

Brilliantly simple, but made a difference to my quiet recording work. Looks good too. Quality is good. Bit fiddly attaching to the stand I have, bought some adaptors.

I used this in combination with my Rode NT1 and for a mic that picks up loads of room noise like the NT1 and TLM2, this isn't a bad product to have if you can't put foam on your walls or can't soundproof your room. My biggest gripe with this thing is that it's a bit heavy. While decent for desk use, trying to use it on a mic stand has been pointless in my experience. And it's not small either, you'll need an adequate amount of desk space to use it and it can be obstructive. Overall, while this product isn't bad, this and others doing the same thing are pretty situational. If you're considering this, I'd honestly recommend you either get something cheaper or outright just use a mic with better noise rejection.

Está bien, pensé que es más grande y por otro lado es un platico, que en las fotos parece que es metal, hubiera comprado una barata, el armado es tardado y nada práctico, chance y la regreso
