If you’ve got a little kid and you want an easy and reliable way to keep them safe around doors, get this! This product is wonderful and works perfectly as mentioned in the advert. We were trying out new baby safety stuff and found this awesome little device that totally blew our safety expectations.If your doors have been installed a while ago it is worth checking the screws. They have provided free screws and I just replaced the old ones with the new ones. I was surprised to see how short the old ones were and I'm glad to replace with stronger screws. Its easy to replace the screws than to run to a hospital with an injured kid, I think.Putting it in was really simple. Then it works like a charm on its own. Seriously, it's one of the best child safety things we've seen so far. We want to get it for all our doors. Yeah, it might be a bit pricier, but the fact that it replaces two or may be threes devices, this ends up being cheaper. And it feels like it will last quite a long time. Top quality stuff!

This was working well until my two year old pushed hard on the door and pulled the hinges out of the wall breaking the whole door!! Return options just tell me to troubleshoot, which is not helpful. I'm disappointed that it didn't work out.

This product does exactly what it says it will do. Within about an hour of installing it our 2 year-old tried to close the door and the door stopper kept him from doing so. The only problem is that the door stopper turned the door into a lever which ripped the hinge screws right out of the door. I was curious as to why the product came with "complementary hinge screws" now I know why. Although new screws won't really do the job of fixing it. ONLY PUT THIS PRODUCT ON A SOLID WOOD OR METAL DOOR WITH STURDY HINGES AND SCREWS!

The media could not be loaded.  I trapped my finger in a door when I was a kid and still remember the how painful it was so needed something reliable.I was a bit sceptical after reading the negative review. So, I bought only two in the first instance just to see how it works. This works wonderfully well.In plain language, if your doors are wobbly and your kids slam doors, buy a much more expensive door closer as well so that your kids cannot slam the doors and that your doors are protected. But if you really want to protect your kid’s hands, handisure is the product and for me I don’t care about the door as long as my kids are safe. Check the images and description of the product which are very clear. The description clearly states not to put force on the door. So, you need to decide what is more important. Your doors or your kids’ hands.Any hinge door stopper by its mechanism will put force on the hinge. But just to be sure, I put a good amount of pressure on the door and had no problem. It is down to the door and how it is installed and not the product.To save myself a long description, please read the listing. It is very clear and offers everything described. It a combination of a lot of products, very simple and very well made. I definitely recommend this to parents with kids.Thanks

I have a new friend at home – a wonderful new puppy. He gets trapped in the room whenever the door gets accidentally closed. He gets very upset when this happens. I am also worried that he might get injured when the door slams. Initially, I tried door wedges that go under to the door. These did not work for long as they served as toys, and he would pick it up chew and play with it. I tried the other ones but I keep forgetting to put them and then I have the same problem – a trapped puppy. I saw this at one of my friend’s place, where there are children. I can see how useful this could be for parents with small kids. I immediately saw how useful this would to me as well.This one is great because I don’t have to remember about a door stop. It will just jam the door open every time I open it and my puppy cannot reach it. So now - no door slams, no trapped puppy and no worries about and injuries.It is a very simple and great product.

It 100% does what it advertised. Safety wise it is perfect. I'll preface this with I live in an o we qaqlder house and some of the doors have hafbigger gauge/longer screws put in the door hinges because the original holes were stripped out. But because the pin that goes over/in the hinges isn't flat it is starting to pull the screws again. Great idea, mostly great design. If they come out with a 2.0 version it should have a flattened pin.

I have used many door safety gadgets in the past but this by far the best. It is very easy to set up and works really well and protects the hinge side as well which most other door guards don't cover. Very good quality and seems like it will last many years. Fully worth the price.It is a must have baby proofing gadget when kids are running around.

Nice product - so easy to install and works great. I've got the foam door stoppers on my doors currently but my toddler seems to be drawn to putting her fingers through the hinge side of the door and it terrifies me thinking what could happen, so that this prevents accidents on both sides is a great peace of mind.Nearly £20 for one door stopper does seem very expensive however, especially when most people have more than one door they'd like to cover!
