The best budget option
Lytool BK71 soldering station I own 4 different soldering stations my weller 1010 is my favourite but is so expensive for diy hobbyists And for hobby use this soldering station is perfect it’s compact lightweight easy to use loads of different tips are supplied with it Nice clear back light display Sleep function you can set between 1 or 5 mins wakes up fast as soon as you lift up the soldering iron so it saves the iron from burning out and helps to give prolonged life Offset temperature options also The iron is light weight and a comfortable size in your hand and the cord is soft and flexible not stiff like other irons I have so you don’t feel like your fighting with it It heats up quickly and adjustments to the temperature are easy and straightforward If you like to do the odd repair or diy soldering project this is a great choice at a decent price If your going to be soldering 8 hours a day every day then your best off with a weller 1010 Yep I have seen a few similar and can’t comment on those but I did put a lot of research in and read hundreds of different reviews before I came to this choice I haven’t been paid or endorsed to write this review and if I am honest most of my reviews I do write on Amazon products are generally negative as I like to be honest and not let people make a bad choice So to sum up Ideal for making diy soldering project you see hundreds of different kinds on here on eBay AliExpress anything from clocks to Christmas trees can’t go wrong with them it’s like painting by numbers but in a electronic way Then this is a ideal budget machine 👍

Great soldering station, especially for the price
I am an active electronics hobbyist and when my old soldering station died, I bought this one. It’s fantastic. Heats up fast, digital display is super easy to see, and it cools itself down when you haven’t used it for awhile so that the tip doesn’t just bake at full temperature. The stand is a little funny, with the sponge located so that you have to access it at a bit of an angle. But really nothing to complain about. Very very nice iron for the money.

Great value soldering station
I bought this soldering station specifically to work on guitar wiring harnesses, as my previous iron just didn’t have sufficient power. This item seemed to offer all the power and flexibility I needed at a great price. Enough poke to solder large potentiometers, but controllable enough that I could reduce the heat for smaller items like oil filled capacitors etc. I haven’t been disappointed at all. I fitted one of the slightly larger tips and tinned it thoroughly before commencing work on the three wiring harnesses. I tinned all components with ease, then soldered in the switches, resistors (treble bleed), capacitors etc at 350°. For the components soldered onto the larger potentiometer casings, I upped the temperature to 400° and joints were quick and easy, without any excessive heat buildup. My old iron would have fried the pots before ever getting enough heat to make a good joint. OK, so there is a but of a compromise at this price. The stand for the iron is plastic, as is the station casing. They are still quite weighty though, and don’t move around when in use. The sponge is tucked on the inside of the stand, making it impractical to use. There is no auto shut off feature if the iron isn’t used for a while either. In my view though, these are very minor issues and this is terrific value for money - so good in fact, that I bought one for my dad too. I hope you find my review helpful.

this is the best soldering iron i have ever used - fantastic!
I recently purchased the Lytool Soldering Station and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This 60W professional digital soldering iron station is a game-changer in terms of efficiency and precision. The 3 inch screen digital display makes it easy to monitor and adjust the temperature, which ranges from 180℃ to 480℃, depending on the type of soldering work you're doing. One of the standout features of this soldering station is its quick heating and fast temperature recovery time. This means that I can get right to work without having to wait for the iron to heat up, and if I need to switch to a different temperature setting for a different job, it only takes seconds to reach the desired temperature. Another great thing about this soldering station is the ergonomic design of the iron. It fits comfortably in my hand and is lightweight, which makes it easy to handle and maneuver while I work on my projects. The station also comes with a helpful soldering iron stand that keeps the iron safe and secure when not in use. Overall, I highly recommend the Lytool Soldering Station for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient soldering tool. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality, ease of use, and quality, and I'm confident it will do the same for anyone who decides to give it a try.

Reliable soldering station that’s stood the test of time
Reliable soldering station that’s stood the test of time I’ve been using this Lytool soldering iron station for over 12 months now and it’s been a solid part of my bench setup. It feels well built and the 60 W output provides plenty of heat for most electronics jobs I tackle, from small repairs to more involved soldering tasks. The adjustable temperature range lets you dial in exactly the heat you need, and it holds the setting reliably throughout a session. The 3-inch LCD display is a nice touch and makes it easy to see what temperature you’re running at a glance, which is much better than guessing with older analogue irons. The unit hasn’t given me any grief in terms of stability or performance, and the intelligent sleep mode is handy when you step away for a moment, helping reduce wear on the tip. Overall it’s been dependable, easy to use and exactly what I needed for regular soldering work without being overcomplicated. I’d happily buy the same unit again if I needed a replacement.

Super aankoop!

Amazing tool. I first bought a much cheaper one that came with even more power tools and accessories but it was such a waste. This one is absolutely amazing. Great tips, and very good temperature. The cleaning compartment with the holder is also really essential. On top of all that it looks really cute and nice, kinda oldschool.

I picked this up as a backup for my Weller iron that lives on my bench. I wanted something that can spend extended periods of time in my garage without disturbing my workflow. I was also curious about having something compatible with Hakko tips (I think that's what this uses) since clones are seemingly everywhere. I must say, I'm impressed with the value here. I don't have a thermocouple to validate the temperature but temperature PID control isn't especially tough and I don't have any reason to think it's miles off. Honestly, there's not much to a unit like this, they're all going to be pretty similar. It has a little switching supply, temperature control, lcd driver, and that's about it - but that's all you need. Really the feature that set this apart from the other irons I've used is the giant digital display. I don't have trouble seeing smaller displays, but the big digits feel a bit luxurious. If you do a lot of temperature adjustments, it would serve as a good sanity check (I personally tend to set a temperature that works and use it forever). There isn't any support for multiple presets, so I would say that someone who switches temperatures a lot might not love that. The base is quite light, but after a quick teardown I've got no complaints about the build quality - again, there's not much to it. The stand is rather light as well, but the material feels very good and solid. I might try to add a metal plate to the bottom of the stand, but it hasn't threatened to tip over so far. The biggest shortfall to this sort of iron is the thermal capacity. You probably wouldn't want to use one of these to solder to big ground planes or join heavy gauge wire (It's only 60W) - but for tacking in through-hole components and quick repairs it seems to do the job well - and that's all I wanted it for. Added a quick video of it doing it's thing since I was playing with the microscope anyway.
