Not quite one tablespoon- they’re a little bigger than a sugar packet. That said, a little goes a long way - worked well for me using just 1/5 packet for 1qt sauerkraut. Hope that helps!

what exact culture strains are in this?

I read on the answers section for the page for the bigger box of them that they use the strains: Lb. plantarum, Ln. mesenteroides, Pc. acidilactici. These are indeed the same strains that were in the slightly pricier brand I was buying at the market. I've not used this brand, but I'm going to give it a shot and hope it's as effective seeing as how they say it contains the same stuff.

So im trying to make ketchup that calls for 41ml of lacto ferment or whey. What ratios of this would i use to achieve this?
