Cheap but does the job
Felt a little cheep but did the job right, it could connect to micro and normal sd cards. It read the cards perfectly. Very small but the caps would not fit perfectly.

Best tool (and speed) for SD card adapter.
Since I use lots of SD card storage and I’m constantly transferring files, this was the exact piece I needed. I chose the USB 3.0 which works flawlessly and has fantastic speed. Came in 2 days. There are a few reasons to choose this handy piece: First off, lots of PC’s and laptops DO NOT have SD card slots which caught me by surprise. But every PC and Laptop has a USB slot. So this come into use. Second, the speed is really fast. Normally on a regular SD card adapter transfers files normally around 15-20MBs per second. This however does it at around 85MBs per second. So ironically, I use this over SD card adapters. (Note: this was on USB 3.0) Thirdly, the size is perfect. It easily fits into any pocket and a decent build. Has two protecting cases on the end of the USB slot and type C which is nice. Just to confirm, I tested all components work perfectly fine and no defects for me. You could use both the SD card and Micro SD card slot at the same time, though I’m almost sure your speeds will slow down. Overall, it’s super worth it and good to have even just lying around. And it’s a great price so you have really not much to lose. Highly recommended for anyone and heavy duty transferring.

Excellent Product
This is an excellent product as it removes the need for you to have various card readers on your device. Very reliable and connects very smoothly, literally plug and play. Great value for money.

USB-C will block MacBook Pro ports
The USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 connector is the disappointment here. First, the male plug is long. about 4mm longer than the length of an Apple charger connector (1cm), for example , so the body of the adapter doesn't fit flush against the body of neither my '15 nor '17 MacBook Pro. Second, the adapter casing is wide, and the USB-C connector is centered in the case. So no matter which of your four USB-C connectors you use with it, it will block off another, rendering it unusable while the adapter is in place. Third, the housing is loose around the USB-C connector. In-place, and not flush with the computer body, it will rock back and forth about 2mm. Up and down movement is about the same. Neither inspires confidence for longevity. Others might suggest that this allows it to take a bump and not snap. Feels cheap to me. Lastly, In one case shortly after I received it I had to invert the adapter to get a good connection, but it may be that those first few time in/out just needed to get the tolerances inline in the internal connections. The end caps, one at each connector, will probably be lost, retractable connectors are an old invention and should have been used here. The card slots on the side don't allow the inserted card to be flush, so if you leave the card in the adapter, it makes for a little fingernail sticking out which has already been caught in my pocket. The convenience of the flexibility of having both USB-3 and USB-C connectors on the same device is largely imbalanced by the ergonomics and implementation of the design. It might serve you better to have two adapters, one each for the types of connectors and/or media. Performance is otherwise fine, supporting a Samsung 256GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC purchased at the same time to go with. I haven't tried the SD slot, nor if the SD and MicroSD slots can be used concurrently (I would be surprised if so). After using 72G of the 256G available in one-time writes to the device, a Disk Utility:First Aid run on the volume found no issues with the volume. Other positives? It's inexpensive. At nearly 1/6th the price of the MicroSD card it hosts, it is a cheap wrapper necessary to get use of the memory card. Hoping it works long enough that I feel I got my two latte's worth.
