I haven’t used these a ton, I basically just bought them as a backup pair. I’ve made about 20 cuts through 3/0 copper and so far they work great. I can tell a difference between these and Kleins but for the price difference, these are well worth the money for an apprentice or just a backup pair.

These work great on alumium wire . we used it up to 250 Kcmil. On copper , we were ok up to 3/0 . We used it on 350 and 500 , but it took a little on the hand ! I would say great for the price and if your working on 200 amps and under , this is a no brainer. If your terminating larger wires , It will work , but they do feel like they want to strain a little. But dont let that scare you. We bought 3 of them and crews are happy.

Great product for the money. I have installed parallel feeds using 350 mcm and has cut just fine. Only drawback is have to squeeze handles all the way. Ratchet gears could be a little closer to prevent but have gotten my money’s worth on 6 panels already

These are terrible wire cutters !! The racheting mechanism runs out just before your wire is fully cut. Bad design, save your money for a deferrent brand. I waited too long to test these and can not return them . So maybe I can save the next customer some money. Don't buy this product.

They are such low quality, they were broken when I received them. This was probably a very good thing because, had I not noticed the pin loose (see picture on right above finger) in the package, I wouldn't have been able to get a credit back for them. (Thanks Amazon) because I wasn't going to be using them for a while. After investigating why the pin was loose I discovered the worst mechanism on a tool that I had ever seen as well as I doubt if these could cut overcooked spaghetti, let alone, cable. Worthless is about the only word that comes to mind. They are resting snugly in my scrap metal pile presently.
