Applies nicely and cleans off easily
The media could not be loaded. 24 double ended watercolour pens presented in a lovely zipped case, from the world renowned maker Winsor and Newton. This is a basic set according to the description, but I would suggest that that doesn’t do this set justice! You get two tips on each pen, one is a flexible brush tip and the other a fine fibre tip.I chose to scribble a little colour onto my glass crafting mat, and add a water with a slightly damp brush. I used water colour card in the photos, but have also used them on smooth card too.The photo of the little mice show them painted with the same colours, but using a little more water on one to achieve a softer result. Off camera, I also mixed colours very successfully, by scribbling two colours onto my mat, without compromising the nibs, and then using a damp brush to blend. This will, of course, create so many more colours that will allow you achieve just the look you are after. The colour does not bleed through the paper, even with large pictures, I cannot praise these pens enough!

Versatile and lovely
I gave these to my daughter (13) and after watching a few YouTube videos she started producing wonderfulpatterns and artwork. She says that there is a really good range of colours—and the pens are double ended, a fine end and a brush end. They come in a really nice case with a pocket for paper too. They are easy and satisfying to use. She uses quite a lot of water when she uses them to make bookmarks and backgrounds for verses, and fractal-esque images! She doesn't remember that there were much by way of instructions, but she quickly found help on YouTube.Lovely indeed!

Perfect for artists! The best watercolour markers on the market!
These ProMarkers by Winsor & Newton are by far the best I have used! The markers are double ended meaning there a different brush tip on either end. One end is more of a thin tip and the other a brush. The thin tip end is perfect for typography, adding details or even for line work. On the other hand, the brush end is ideal for shading, blending between different shades/colours or filling areas with watercolour quickly. The brush ends both provide a consistent flow of water colour and I found that the brush/tip were very durable and wouldn't split, etc. This collection of 24 markers is perfect as it offers a great range of colours and shades. When drawing with these watercolour markers, the colour comes out on the paper quite vibrantly and I found that the application using these watercolour markers was far more convenient, consistent and easier than mixing watercolour yourself the traditional way. I will say that you should keep the caps on either end at all times when not using as otherwise the watercolour inside will dry out. These markers are perfect to use on Winsor & Newtons watercolour paper pad and ideal for both beginners and advanced artists. Fair price considering quality. 5 stars!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Great set of watercolour markers
This is a versatile set of markers. The included colours cover a wide range of the spectrum and should offer plenty of options for imaginative colourists and artists, especially with the ability to blend them. The different tip widths also offer good flexibility - the wider tip is soft and almost brushlike, and the fine tip is perfect for clear delineation and detail. The pens aren't particularly ergonomic due to their size, but I've yet to use watercolour markers that don't have a basic cylindrical shape. The size is hopefully a good indication of their longevity, though I've yet to expend any of the colours so far.The case is handy and feels well made. It could certainly be re-used when the pens are used up.Overall, this is a high quality set of widely-used colours.

Stunning markers
My teenage daughter (she has A* in art) absolutely raves about these watercolour markers! She highly recommends them. They're really easy to work with in both brush and fine tip mode. They provide consistent paint and come in great range of colours (which you can obviously blend).
