My daughter has become obsessed with Perler beads and this iron is ideal for such crafts. I love it’s small to store, gets to the correct temperature and is something my daughter can use (while supervised of course). This little iron was a great great deal for the price!

PROS: It works just like a full-size iron. It has a temp. dial to regulate the heat and a solid heat plate. I use it to iron my decals onto small hard to get to places, and it does the job perfectly. IT GETS HOT! Make sure you adjust the temp.CONS: No on/off light. You better try to feel the heat coming from it before you accidently get burned. Power cord could definitely be longer.Still, I give it 5 because it does the job, and the price is reasonable. It is not an automatic shut off, so be sure to unplug or turn the dial off.

I use this iron for my Perler bead creations. Once I found the setting I wanted, it fused the beads together nicely. Finding the correct setting was easier than I thought. I had to buy an extension cord, but it didn't impact the operation.

Good for regular iron but not for heat press vinyl

At first glance this iron looks like a toy, but in fact it is very useful. Great for getting into tight areas. It is very lightweight which makes it comfortable to use. It certainly will not replace a full sized iron for general ironing, but is very convenient for touch ups or for ironing small items. Very light weight and compact and comes with a small draw-string cloth bag which makes it ultra convenient for travel. Great buy for the money.

Kids use this for their crafts. They love how it’s easy to use and won’t burn down the house. We have used others but this one is a much better product!

The soleplate on this iron lacks a fillet (the edges of the plate are just a corner instead of rounded) which causes the iron to trip at times. You have to be very careful and very delicate while using it. The power cord is also very short; I have to use an extension cable to use the iron properly.While it does preheat quick, there's no indicator as to when the iron is ready to use. It's quite inconvenient to guess and try to use the iron when it isn't fully preheated.I'm a little afraid trying to use this for Perler beads since first impressions are a little mediocre. So far, I've only used it to iron paper to flatten it out, and it's done an okay job with that so far, but I have my apprehensions with fuse beads since they have crevasses in between them that the corner of the iron might get stuck on.Update: This iron does not work well for perler beads. It's far too small to be effective and you're better off using something bigger.

This is the perfect size, easy to use and Maintain temperature while crafting. It’s a great value for the money. I love mine!
