Easy to install and I love the fact that I was able to charge my nest cameras . No issues.

So far, keeps my Nest Battery Cam at full charge. Will have to wait til winter to see if on less sunny days it can keep up.

There's a lot to report here, but the biggest issue by far is the lack of recording events when it definitely should be recording. Very disappointed so far and will return this item if I cannot get the issues resolved. First, my Google Nest Cam Battery Indoor/Outdoor camera has a very good full bars connection to my Netgear Orbi wifi router, according to the Orbi app. My camera is mounted above my garage on my stucco wall. My iPhone gets the same type connection from the same spot where the camera is when I check that, full bars. Google nest camera power shut down first night I had it connected to solar panel, and I had fully charged the camera first before connecting everything. I was very surprised at this when I saw this in the Google Home app the next morning I plug in the power cable from the solar panel to camera and a pop-up message on my phone that it's not making a good connection. Then I look at Google home and see video from the camera, and showing the Solar connect on the battery status page. The biggest issue, as I mentioned, is that the camera only records maybe 1 out of 20 events when connected to the solar panel....that it should easily record. It recorded a lot more when it was using just the internal battery alone. The solar panel has made my camera operate much worse. I have tried various settings for the camera, then tried alternate settings, and then again different settings. Nothing I try works. Tonight me and my wife went for a bike ride. We spent at least 5 minutes getting ready in the driveway where the camera has a perfect view. Then 25 minutes later we came back home, again spending some time in the driveway before putting the bikes away. I checked Google Home when I came in to find that the camera did not record either event. I have my Google Home settings set correctly so that is should record these type events. This is a common theme since connecting to the solar panel, and after having this thing Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, I'm ready to return it. I instead am going to have to go the route of plugging the camera in to an electrical outlet, which I don't have outside and I'm not about to drill through my stucco, but I am going to see if I can get this done somehow. Messaged my electrician today. I've read countless possible solutions online too and none of them have worked. The product page on Amazon says Frequently returned item. Now I see why. What a complete disappointment.

My previous review was that my solar charger must have been defective because it didn't charge very well. Two things affected it: #1, It was in a high squirrel traffic area, and they were knocking the wire loose. I strapped the connector, and it still didn't charge. #2, I found that the wire connector has to be inserted/connected/seated in the charge socket on the camera with the wire extending towards the front of the camera, so the metal pieces from the wire and the camera touch. I didn't look at them and the wire fits even if it is in the wrong direction. Once I inserted the wire so the metal pieces touched, it worked fine. Wasserstein, ask Nest to change the shape of the oval to some other non-symmetrical shape so the connector only fits one-way, or make it so it charges no matter which way the wire is inserted/seated.

The unit seems to be very will integrated with the camera as the battery status comes up SOLAR in the google home app. It does not allow me to see the actual battery status and if the solar is charging the batter but the camera stays on 24x7. It was easy to install and seems to be good quality.

The solar chargers work fantastic. I have the google nest battery cameras. I mounted one camera in my driveway about 12 foot high and the 2nd camera on my deck about same height. You need an extention ladder to reach the driveway camera. The last thing i wanted was to get ladder out everytime the cameras needed charged. So after researching a ton I purchased 2 of the 3.5w solar chargers. So my driveway camera charge went fast but that was my fault for having it look at everything lol. So the camera said 3 days charge left but I already ordered the solar chargers so I waited 2 days for them to arrive. They arrived and I installed the solar charger without charging my nest camera. It's been 4 days now and both cameras are staying charged which means this old guy doesn't have to get the ladder out and charge cameras and not have them in place incase something g happens. If I'm going to say anything bad about the product; it's the plastic mounting brackets. They're not horrible but the quality could be better. The plastic is pretty sturdy but definitely not the best. The mounts take 2 screws. The solar panel base does rotate so you can position which way you want the solar panel to face. My garage camera I set to stay so no adjustments ever needed again. My deck I can change angle of solar panel and been moving it around a bit to catch as much sun as possible. All said and done; I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND them. They work fantastic. It's only been 4 days. Remember one of my cameras was 1 day from needing charge and after hooking up the solar i havent needed to charge my cameras. I posted pics of the mounts, like I said, not horrible but could be better. You won't be disappointed with the solar charger. UPDATE: no sun for 3 days now, rainy season is here. Solar panels are still working 100%. Haven't had to charge my cameras since I purchased the solar panels. I'm 100% satisfied.

Excellent continuous power source for our Nest Cameras (Battery). We have seen no power loss at all. Very easy to install and fit in a good location with the 13 foot cable. After (magnetic pins) connecting to the Nest Cameras (Battery) the Solar Panels were immediately recognized, functioning and compatible with the Home system. So far I find the Wasserstein Premium Solar Panels for my two Nest Cameras (Battery) to be a great value. I will update this review later if anything changes or I think of more information to provide.

The solar panel is a worthwhile investment. I have one installed on the back of my house, which receives ample sunlight both in clear skies and cloudy conditions. It effectively maintains the battery's charge for continuous operation. I strongly advise its purchase. I will post another review once I acquire another one for the front of the house, which receives significantly less sunlight and is not directly exposed to the sun, and observe its performance in that environment. However, it has performed admirably thus far.

The panel works as advertised. Installation is very easy as well. I've installed it on cloudy day at winter where the temperature was around -3 outside , and after one hour it was charged about 1%. On sunny days it will than charge faster. I'm happy with this product.

I bought the premium version. It's a good size, but most importantly - it works. In two days my camera was charged - to the solar maximum of 70%. Using it in Australia with the Aussie version of the google camera.

Bought the premium one for the higher wattage. Worked amazing after the first day of full sun. the camera was still using the battery from when I got it setup 4 weeks ago, noticed the battery life was not great, so I needed something to keep this thing charged instead of me hauling my arse up a ladder every month. screwed this in, setup it up, plugged it in. took 10 minutes. Awesome.
