Handblown glass and elegant

These were perfect for our remodel. Thought about replacing the chain prior to them installed (looks a bit cheap) but when installed you really don’t see it. Added Edison Bulbs and they are on a dimmer.

The media could not be loaded.  You guys… I almost purchased similar lighting from a lighting store for $480 per light. We found these on Amazon and reluctantly purchased 3 of them. Wow!! SO much prettier and well made than I could have hoped for. They look stunning over our island. I would definitely recommend them!

My wife and I love this! We were concerned after having read that there was a seam in the glass (which most people believe means that this wasn't hand blown, I'll get to that in a second), but once the light is hanging the seam isn't an issue for us. Overall the piece looks fantastic in our dining room and we couldn't be happier. We put an LED Edison bulb in it and it gives off a ton of light. We also placed pieces of colored beach (sea) glass around the bottom to add a touch of color.Now, onto the concern of this not being hand blown. So, having blown glass for four years I would have to say that this item is most likely hand blown. (I could be wrong, but this is my educated opinion.)Reasons for my opinion are as follows: The seams appear to be from a mold into which the molten glass was placed while on the end of a blow pipe before blowing so that the glassblowers could get uniform shape and size for each of the lights produced. The mold would need to be made from two separate pieces in order to get the shape and still remove the glass from the mold without damaging it. Hence a seam from where those two pieces would sit together. Without the use of a mold these lights would, most likely, be slightly different sizes, shapes and be much more costly to produce than what is being sold here. Also, the "hammering" was most likely created by using a mold that had a hammered texture to it to begin with. There is also a lip wrap near the top of the light.Odds are this was all done in a factory setting so that these could be more quickly produced, but that doesn't mean that there weren't people actually blowing the glass.So, to sum up: excellent product; hangs well in our dining room; yes, my educated opinion is that it is hand blown.

Yes this light does have a seam. It isn’t hand blown, but could be hand made. It cast an awesome shadow on the ceiling which was a cool surprise.

I fell in love with the look of this type of pendant and searched high and low for a quality glass jug/demijohn type pendant for a reasonable price. All others were way more expensive, around $300 for similar sizes. Birch Lane had the most reasonably priced comp but it was still more than double the cost of this one. The photos other reviewers had posted looked okay so I ordered this one, mostly motivated by the price. We got two 13" pendants to hang over an island.I'd say you get what you pay for, and I'm not sure how they define "handmade" since the lights are clearly machine made with a big seam on either side (which is noted in the description so I wasn't surprised). The lights are definitely not uniform and are slightly uneven even once hung, so maybe that's why they're considered "handmade" lol, but they are still beautiful lights for the price so I don't mind. If anyone comments on the unevenness I'll just tell them they're handmade after all!Pros: Nice thick glass, hammered finish is a nice touch, happy to find this style fixture with ORB hardware, price point is reasonable, they were very well packaged so nothing was broken/missing.Cons: Tough to install as glass can't be removed from rest of fixture so you need one person to hold the pendant while the other does the wiring, seam is noticeable (which I expected, but still), the actual glass is not uniform/level and makes the fixture appear slightly crooked (read: "handmade").

I bought two of these lights. One for over my kitchen sink and the other one for over my dining room table. The kitchen one is the middle size, and the dining room has the large one.I’m amazed at how pretty they are!I purchased Edison lightbulbs for them, and they look really great. Edison bulbs aren't the brightest bulbs on the planet (pun intended), so I could have benefited from having two medium lights over the dining table vs the one big light, but I’m happy with what I did. It’s not really bright, but it will be fine.The light fixture is elegant and casts a beautiful light. I’m so happy with them that I’m purchasing a third one for my hallway.And yes, like other reviewers have mentioned there is a noticeable line down two sides of the glass. I have decided that the benefits of this beautiful light outweigh this visible line. To the casual eye, I think I’m the only one who would notice.

The product arrived on time and they are installed in my kitchen. They are quite exquisite and enhance the decor of the kitchen. I found it difficult to get the correct bulbs .... filament LED with an amber glow. When I first opened the parcel, I thought they would be too large but not. My kitchen is large enough to accommodate them. The smokey colour is just right for the kitchen decor. Very much admired by the constant stream of tradespeople and visitors> I would purchase from this vendor again.
