I had some DeFeet arm warmers many years ago that were fantastic, but the subsequent version was too short, so they would crawl down my arms while I was riding. But I always liked the material - it's like a big comfy sock, so I took a chance and got a new pair to try. I am 5'11" with moderately long arms, so I got mine in a large/x-large, and they are a perfect fit. I've found with arm warmers that it's better to go a tad longer than a tad shorter, as the elastic nature of the warmers will make them crawl down if they are too short. These large/x-large are plenty long, but with a nice elastic fit top to bottom. and a nice elastic band up top to hold them in place. A big thumbs up. Better even than the original.

I have worn these for years and now bought another pair in white. Thankfully they are just as long as the originals and the fabric feels just as good if not better. This summer I'm experimenting with these in hot and humid weather and so far in very humid conditions in the 70's low 80's so great. They are not hot at all and keep the sun at bay from heating my skin. I realize they make a super lightweight version of these but I find no fault with these even in the heat. I sweat alot in the humidity too and the thickish fabric absorbs the moisture and creates a colling effect in the wind. My arms are completely cool after taking them off. Knit Coolmax is one of my favorite fabrics as it never feels hot or cold, unlike many other polyesters. Don't ask me how, it just works and has for may years despite many other fabrics coming along.

I love these warmers... love them. They feel like sliding a comfortable stretchy sock on your arm and for that reason they feel as if they keep me warmer than they standard poly-type warmer. Highly recommend, but careful on the sizing... *I* think the run large. Maybe try the size you think and the size down from that and return the one that doesn't fit.

Would not have expected, but they are great. I have not used others, so no basis of comparison, but the wool is entirely breathable and makes riding in semi-cool weather quite enjoyable.

Rolls up at the shoulder a little bit but they stay in place and are comfortable. Lightweight yet warm.

My wife loves them, helps her be prepared from cool to warm or vise versa, I would highly recommend to every one.
