Great Value for the price
I picked up on this machine a couple of days ago while I was searching for a new laptop. Most of my laptop were Dells or HP’s. I always looked at Apple and IBM as high priced laptops because of there quality. Not saying that the other manufactures are not any good but, these particular manufactures always pay a lot of attention to detail. That’s why I felt comfortable buying a refurbished ThinkPad. I chose the Lenovo ThinkPad T430. I must say I was very impressed after receiving this machine. There were very little signs of use. It was clean. Labels and stickers, front and back were clean with no signs of tampering. Keyboard, palm rest, screen, top and bottom cover were all clean, almost new. When powering the machine, Windows setup loaded up and walk me through the setup process. After login, you have to go into system and activate Windows. Mines came with Win 10 Pro. I found out later that the battery could not hold a charge. Lasted 20mins after being unplugged. This was expected (although not acceptable) because of the age of the machine. Most batteries last two to three years depending on use and frequent charging any way. I contacted Blazing Prices and Amazon and was given a couple of options. I was very pleased with the outcome. It made me content with my purchase.P.S. upgrade your laptops Hard Drive to solid State HDD (SSD) and you’ll be amazed at the performance. This upgrade along with the already installed 8GB memory, makes a huge, huge difference in performance. No complaints here, you will like this ThinkPad.

My greatest laptop to date.
I am a tech lover, and even after owning laptops from brand new to a few years old through mostly Dell and Acer, this Lenovo T430 laptop especially for the age is incredible. Given the condition I received this in has a good chunk to do with it, the build quality is impressive, and even the weight! It is in no means heavy, but not cheap and flimsy light either. This laptop paired with 8GB of ram, a SSD, built in Bluetooth, wireless card that connects to 5 GHz wireless, Rj45, and many customizable options. The disc drive can be removed and add in another storage slot, even a Mini SATA SSD can be added. If I had to come up with at least one con, it would be the display. It is a 1600x900 matte display (that my model came with) which is plenty sharp for me, and colors are pretty nice as well, but it is the viewing angles.

A Really Good Alternative
I was in the market for a new computer recently since my 9 year old laptop from my college days picked up this unique trait where it shuts itself off whenever it wants. I mean in computer years it has to be like 90, so I suppose it's earned the right to behave like a crotchety old man. Anyway, I don't have a lot of money to throw at a computer and I was originally looking at brand new computers in this price range. After recently setting up a new laptop for my Mom I was pretty underwhelmed by the performance you get from a lower cost computer; so, I decided to roll the dice on a refurbished one. It paid off.I came across this refubished Lenovo ThinkPad T430, and as the reviews seemed mostly positive (and adjusting my expectations that a refurbished computer means "this has already been used by someone else"), I went ahead and purchased it. I have been using it regularly for about a month and a half now and I must say I am pretty impressed with the power this guy still has. It meets my needs very well and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a practical yet powerful laptop for their everyday computing needs. I use it regularly for writing, streaming music, online videos, surfing the web... You know, basic millennial stuff. I haven't tried any photo or video editing so I can't say if it's up to those standards, although I would hesitate to say it could do those things; the graphics card and screen quality are nowhere near what you would find in a new computer. Also, if you are looking for the flashiest, shiniest, or newest device to take to the coffee shop with the other hipsters you will probably want to keep looking. This thing is definitely older and it shows. I don't know when Lenovo produced this particular model but it might be as old as my fossil of a computer I replaced, except this thing was properly cared for and refurbished to a more-than-acceptable level of performance. Overall, I am happy with this laptop and would absolutely recommend it to someone looking for a utilitarian computer that is a step up speed-wise from the new options in this same price range. Obviously there is a trade-off here but it is a solid alternative!

Pathetic
Laptop worked great when plugged in until you unplug it and it immediately shuts down. Contacted Lenovo for assistance; took all steps they suggested, removing battery while plugged into AC, hold power button 20sec, return battery and should work fine... Nope. Then tried restarting it just connected to AC power, plugging battery in at desktop to the message battery won't charge. Makes ya wonder how many fake reviews this product may have.

the laptop works great but the seller promised futures that the computer doesn't have.for example it does not have webcam, or the right license to use windows 10.

Perfect. Exactly as described. Exceded expectations.
Due to an unfortunate problem with my other laptop, I found myself just finding a laptop that would carry me through a semester of college, but now I've graduated and this laptop is still chugging like a champ. The laptop came exactly as described, along with the Window's 10 upgrade. I bought it originally for school, and since graduating it handles my work load very well. I've never had a problem with it. I also use it for some gaming when I'm on the road, and it handles almost anything I throw at it as long as the settings are right (Intel integrated graphics can only handle so much). Overall it's been a very solid laptop, and has performed beyond my expectations. The only Con: The integrated sound card is somewhat weak, when I plug my headphones in, it doesn't sound as good as when I plug them into my phone. Not a huge problem for anyone looking for a solid business PC, but I figured I'd toss it in.
