Follow the suggestion of sticking tape on back of your hand a few times to make it less “sticky”, but this thing works like a charm. Easy to use and eyeliner comes out beautifully. I have asymmetric eyes so I can line one eye easily but the other eye is always a challenge bc it’s shaped slightly different. So to get them to look similar is annoying and most times I don’t even bother with liner. Asymmetry happens as you get older. I’m only 50yrs -and I still look really Amazing for my age- no joke. I’m genuinely grateful to still be so attractive. BUT but no one escapes Father Time so my facial features have been affected with some asymmetry. This tool solves that nuisance and makes it a lot easier. I don’t look like a hot mess who doesn’t know how to use makeup lol. Excellent Tool to have in my makeup kit and enough tape to last me awhile!

Tape works great. If you find it sticks too well, just use it on the top of your hand first a couple of times to remove some stickiness. However, the tape dispenser is horrible. It comes apart very easily, the cutter does not cut without a struggle, and the metal cutter keeps coming off! I won't order again unless they improve the dispenser.

Great for makeup

Love the tape, even though it pulls on my under eye a bit much.. the tape dispenser is cute, but the little rhinestones aren't on there neatly and catch hairs and and then the hairs stuck to the rhinestones end up in the tape... great for skin for younger people.. but me in my late thirties-- pulld on my under eye so much I feel like it would cause more wrinkles

Never thought I'd find an eyeshadow shield/tape that didn't tug at my skin when pulling off. Well, this is it and it's perfect for a dramatic eye look. I use it everyday. Easy to apply and I love the clean crisp line. Just sticky enough!

I bought this only because a friend recommended it and the dispenser is really cute! I had been looking for a makeup tape but didn't know what to buy. This tape is VERY sticky, too sticky in my opinion. I have to stick it to my hand a few times to make it less adhesive, so I can use it near my eyes without hurting my skin. It makes eyeliner and eyeshadow SO EASY and not messy. Basically perfect.

Works well! I’ve been using eyelash tape for my eyeliner but it doesn’t stick on well. This product is way better. It’s a bit difficult to fear using the metal ripper, so I just tear it with my fingers and it works way better. I don’t know why some comments say it’s way too sticky and hurts to remove because that’s definitely not the case for me.

with the Vertex make up tape I am able to create a well defined eyeshadow angles. Very useful product and nice to have one.

Used to apply eyeliner and prevent the eyeshadow that sometimes falls under the eye from ruining the makeup for competition. Doesn't hurt when removing
