This item seemed like a good purchase in its description, however it’s not heavy enough for any of my projects and its currently waiting for something small enough it will work for.

I like this product for the priceBearings where a bit tight at first on the rails but loosened up after a bit of useLimit the number of times you slide the bearing blocks on and off the rails as you could knock some of the tiny ball bearings free from the bearing raceway and have to reinstall them.

The rods were rough and the bearing pillow blocks would not move without significant force. Even after oiling everything up this still failed to move smoothly. It's probably worth spending more for quality parts.

When this kit arrived, it was in good condition. everything worked perfectly. We used it for a latching mechanism on a robot which weights about 14 kg. The linear bearings got worn out really quickly, as there was some force applied to them perpendicular to the axis of their movement. Thea lead screw got bent pretty fast.One annoying thing: the small screws used to keep the lead screw in place can't be tightened easily because of the way they are positioned. Managed it in the end, but definitely took some fidling. They are also really easy to lose.Ok for the price. if you don't plan on lifting heavy stuff with it, its pretty good.
