Essentials Felt Back Vinyl Table Pad was easy to trim to the exact size I needed... with plenty left over for other tables. The advice to spin the table pad in the dryer on medium heat for a couple of minutes to smooth out the wrinkles from being folded really worked well.

The liner or padding was not thick enough for my dining room table . I had to fold it in half and even with a tablecloth on would still need to use a trivet for hot dishes. I have not had to clean it yet. I had to buy a rubber liner for underneath to keep it from sliding off the table . I own two cats. Need I say more. So will see how it all works out.

On my dining table . The texture is very elegant and the color is a silvery grey. Just what I wanted and my table is very very long for 8 people. And still had enough material to allow it to hang over very nicely.

Good fit

I do not like to put an unwashed table cover on my dining table. So I checked the washing instructions on it and it said 'Handwash'. So I put it in the washer on a delicate cycle and with a minimal amount of a gentle detergent.At the end of the cycle, when I removed it, I was highly disappointed to see that the plastic and the flannel backing had separated from each other completely.Very cheap quality and thin too.

I like the quality. Just what I wanted.
