any way to adjust the image on this thing? I don't see any picture modes in the meuns or any adjustment even for brightness and contrast.

From the 'Home' menu select 'Settings' then 'Brightness' and you will get 3 options of Low, Medium, High. There are no settings for 'contrast' that I could find.

Can this projector be used for a powerpoint presentation from an android phone? How would it connect?

I have not tried it on an Android, but it does state that there is a downloadable app that will allow it to operate through either an Android or iPhone. And there are instructions in the online manual for using it on a remote device.
