Another Classic!
Let's face it, babies make two things in abundance: cuteness and questionable smells. "David Smells!" hits this hilarious reality right in the diaper with the beloved antics of little David, and I guarantee both toddlers and long-suffering parents will get a kick out of it. Here's the smelly, silly scoop:Toddler Life, Uncensored: David doesn't hold back. From a stinky diaper and the dog's enthusiastic nose inspection to whiffs of crayons and gooey snacks, this book brings toddler life to your nostrils in vivid detail. Warning: You may have phantom smells after reading.A Feast for the Senses: "David Smells!" doesn't just TELL you about smells, it brings them to life. Bright, bold illustrations practically slap you in the face with colorful odors, making it both an olfactory and visual experience. Just try not to snort when you see that steaming diaper page.Simple Joy at its Finest: See the world through David's curious eyes! Smelling flowers, a messy bath, even the garbage can become adventures. It's a hilarious reminder that sometimes, the simplest things hold the most fascination for little ones (even when those things stink to high heaven).Parent Solidarity Alert: Moms and dads everywhere will nod, laugh, and probably cringe a little with this one. Remember the unique fragrance of baby food explosions? Or the sudden waft from a diaper you swore was clean? This book perfectly captures those "Oh, honey, what did you DO?" moments.Unexpectedly Educational: Amidst the laughs, "David Smells!" teaches basic concepts like identifying scents and exploring senses. And hey, the lingering smell of crayon may even trigger a spontaneous art session with your little one.In conclusion, if you're looking for a board book that's bright, funny, and hits close to home (maybe too close at times), "David Smells!" is a must-have. Just keep those air fresheners handy and remember, this pungent phase won't last forever. Probably.

Great for newborn/infant vision tracking! Such a sweet childhood book for mamas and their babies!
I loved the “No, David” books as a child and decided to buy this one for my baby. I read it to her for the first time today, and she did nothing but smile the entire time! The illustrations really helped with her vision and tracking at her newborn/infant stage.

love, Love, LOVE it!
The media could not be loaded. My son (20 mo) and daughter (34 mo) LOVE this book! We got this and Oh David. They love them both. I think I like Oh, David a *little* better. But they're both great. We already had No David and they often read it in daycare also. We loved it. I was afraid this might be too young for them since they were already loving No David, but nope. They love it! And it's short with minimal words so they can flip through it and "read" it themselves now, too! There are some negative reviews here... I'm so glad I didn't listen and bought these books anyway. Especially, since now I completely disagree. We love the yucky sucker with the bug stuck to it! We say EWWWWWW! Don't eat that!!! And my daughter, on her own, said you can't eat food off the floor! That's how smart kids are, and how this can be a good opportunity to teach kids - the sucker must have been on the floor and now you can't eat it. And yes, there's a page that says don't touch the dog. In my house, we have 2 cats, and guess what? I tell my son not to touch the cats. So we can relate. (I pet the cat with his hand and say "nice" to teach him, but he's young yet. If the cat jumps into the living room and I'm not right there, my son can be a little too rough. So we just say leave the cat alone ;p ) And their favorite page? "PU David!" We interchange the words from the 2 books (Are you stinky?) because there's a similar page in each. We also say PU STINKY! when my son's diaper is full, so, again, we can relate. Overall, short & sweet, and our new favorites.

Just found these books: grandchild loves them
Simplistic but fun for kids: this one is actually for babies and I am giving at a baby shower...but I have purchased his older kids' books and my grandchild loves them. She "reads" them all the time. Love that I found the series.
