I really love this product because it is made specifically for 5-string electric violin. Prior to this, I was using a short-scale viola C string, thus the tension was all over the place and I could not get a proper tone for the lower register. Now my performance is no longer crippled by a compromise setup. Also, it is value for money compared to other major string brands with higher prices. I highly recommend this string.

I needed to replace the E string on my NS WAV 4 and this is exactly what I wanted. It is recommended to use steel or metal core strings on electric violins, not synthetic. This is EXACTLY right and the sound is sweet and clear.

Best I've found so far for using on my electric violins. They do provide a noticeable improvement in volume and really wouldn't recommend any other brand in the under $50 category.
