Leland Soda Chargers Seltzer Chargers Co2, 200 Count

I have been ordering these for years and I have used several thousand of them since I make my own seltzer water to drink, I have never had a bad one. Its a good product

I've been making and drinking a lot of homemade soda, and I finally decided it was stupid to keep buying liters/cans of seltzer when I have a seltzer bottle that just needs chargers. This is A LOT of chargers (I expect them to last me at least 3 years), but it saves me up to half the cost of seltzer. Also the steel in the chargers is more reliably able to be recycled than plastic of liter bottles. These work perfectly with my Isi Soda bottle. (While these are very easy to use, there are some proper steps one has to take to make sure the bottle properly carbonates your water, but that would be more appropriate for a review of a bottle, not these chargers.)

I went ahead and bought this 200 pack because I thought "CO2 is CO2, how could these possibly be any different from the expensive ones?". I should have bought a smaller quantity first, as every one of the 20 or so of these I have tried has imparted a horrible oily, rubbery taste to some degree. Sometimes it is minor, other times it's simply unbearable and I have to pour the results down the drain. I have stopped using these and returned to the expensive (but reliably non-disgusting) ones I was using before. If you have ideas for what to do with the ~180 of these I have remaining let me know.

Good price, have been using daily for seltzer and have been pleased with carbonation uniformity. Great deal for the price in bulk

These chargers do what they are supposed to do.

I bought a 300 pack a while back and it was great. I bought this 200 pack recently, same brand same seller but listed differently, because it was a better unit price. Unfortunately the majority of the cartridges have a very strong burning rubber smell and taste to match the smell. I started trying one from each box and a few of them are good, but most are not fit for human consumption.
