Great images but small
Love the images but wish they were not so small in the Kindle version.Makes a contribution to our understanding of African art forms.

Lacks Substance
I was disappointed in the size and lack of depth of this brochure. I cannot classify this as a book. It reminds me of a college term paper or a proposal for a theses paper. My advice is to go to a university or public library to read this work, which shouldn’t take more than thirty minutes. Kevin Tervala of the Baltimore Musuem of Art recently curated an exhibit of Kuba Textiles. He wrote a more in-depth article, which included beautiful pictures, to accompany the exhibit.

Good background information for someone just starting to look at ...
A little thin formally. Could have used more content, and images. Good background information for someone just starting to look at Kuba textiles.

Four Stars
Great book, just wish it was more in depth with more photos and stories.

kuba awareness
Many people have seen or heard about these unique textiles. This small but vital book book presents the where and hows of Kuba cloths.

Useful but Not Comprehensive
This book can be useful for students of textile design. However, the book is very brief and does not give detailed information about techniques, and some of the photos of fabrics are not in color. It was therefore a bit disappointing.
