Intro-Tech MA-48 Custom Fit Windshield Sunshade for Select Mazda 3 Models, Silver

Fits 2nd generation Mazda3 windshield well. Keeps the car about 10F cooler than without a sunshade on a very sunny day and protects the dash from UV light (angle of sun of course changes the effectiveness). Because it is meant to be stored rolled up, the edges of the visor don't perfectly cover up to the A-pillars (the visor starts to curl inward). It does cover most of the windshield, maybe 90% - 95%. I'd say it is a good fit for an aftermarket accessory. If you really tried to flatten it out and stored it flat, it would probably cover even more of the windshield, with only a small amount uncovered near the A-pillars and the cutout for the rear-view mirror. I have been using this for several years now and am very satisfied.

I live in the south - humid and 90+ degrees is a daily thing. I also leave my car on the top of a parking deck for work for most of the day b/c its closest to my office. Might as well be a baking tray. I used the fabric fold-y car shields - they were ok; but this thing is way better, and faster to put on because it holds its shape so it just slides on and off. I am very happy with the purchase. Will have to see if it holds its shape long term.

I have had a store bought sun shade for my 2012 Mazda 3 ever since I got my dashboard replaced due to it melting in the Florida sun. The store bought shade was also disintegrating and leaving tiny bits of it all over my car. I decided on this shade as it had good reviews and was about middle of the road with regard to price.I am so far very happy with my purchase. The fit is virtually perfect with no bits of dashboard left uncovered like my old shade. The edges are stitched with a type of felt fabric so it slides smoothly on the dashboard into position. It is also much heavier duty than my old shade so it stays in position much better.The one down side of it being sturdier than the old shade is that it slightly harder to handle when you go to roll it up. All in all though, a good product.

excellent product

This windshield sunshade fits my Mazda3 2011 perfectly! I use it on a daily basis and it has held up very well! It is *not* one of the flimsy models you can buy at a car store or big-box store. It has a very sturdy material inside, stronger than cardboard.

The quality is excellent just wish the fit was a little better. Doesn't quit fill the windshield.

I'm very pleased I was able to find this much more reasonably priced alternative than what was available from the dealer. It fits my 2013 Mazda3 very well, is easy to install and keeps my car noticeably cooler. The design also allows me to slip my rear view mirror hung parking permit in front of the shade. It's no problem for me to roll it up and toss in the back seat when not in use. As I recall, it was also delivered ahead of schedule.

Perfect fit on a 2014 Mazda 3. A little bulkier than the "circle" ones, but also much more reflective. We use our old circular shades in the rear window (or side window depending on sun direction).
